Not as dramatic as I thought it'd be...

An OK episode.

Really liked the Raj pickup at the end, well written and executed. Lucy hasn't done a thing for me yet...so umm....yeah, I need to see more or less of her.

And Amy being a good influence on her Sheldon.

Otherwise...

Meh.

Thankfully my local news didn't continue their "storm mode" coverage to the point of interrupting the show tonight! Loved the episode! Best part....IMO...

Knock, knock, knock, Penny?

Knock, knock, knock, Penny?

Knock, knock, knock, Penny?

Oh YES...that's better.

Penny and Leonard have sex while Sheldon watches the incredibles. :icon_mrgreen:

This Big Bang Theory is better than expected. The taping reports didn't do it justice. That's not an insult by the way to the people who do them. It's just an example of some not coming off as good written down as on screen.

Just going to point out that his GF sent him back over there to do it and its better because of his OCD. So...yeah.

I really enjoyed this episode... had a classic big bang feel to me.  We even got a classic sheldon laugh in there.

I can't say enough about the scene with penny and sheldon on the couch. LOL.

Amy was really funny too, and Raj... oh my goodness.  poor guy with his lobster bib.  that was so funny.  I think Lucy is going to be a good match for him... so far so good.  We'll see.

I'm a little disappointed that a scene from the taping report was cut out... but I understand that has to happen sometimes.

An excellent episode in my opinion!

This was an OK episode.

Like Kiru Breezy, I really liked the Raj pickup at the end, it was well written and execute. Even though Lucy has not done a thing for me also...I need to see more her to see what I think about her.

And Amy being a good influence on her Sheldon was also great as well.

Otherwise...

This episode gets a B in my book

Yep, AMY is the only reason some of those sheldon and penny scenes happened. And she will still get hated on. *sigh*

also, it did tick me off how Sheldon blabbed about Penny's sex life as well for the whole world to see. Implying again that Penny is a slut.

Something felt...off, it was funny but it didn't quite hit the sweet spot.

I LOVED Raj's description of himself... :-)

Sheldon and Penny's scene on the couch was great.  But why didn't she explain further what she meant about opening up, instead of leaving him with the notion that he had to spread-eagle himself?

Penny was good on stage, too. I found myself annoyed that they kept saying "she's great!" Well shut up and watch her, then!   :D

Raj was great tonight.  Really enjoyed how they handled all that - I hadn't seen the episode description or any spoilers and I was so shocked when she jumped out the window! I immediately like this girl.  The scene she had with him in the hallway, explaining how she is around people and trying to force herself into uncomfortable situations, was fantastic, felt so authentic.  Or maybe it just hits too close to home... in any case, Raj is pretty damaged too, maybe this is a good match for him.

I know I shouldn't even say anything and I am not looking to open up a debate about it, but this is one of those nights where the laugh track really annoyed me.

I think it was an okay episode.  It ended abruptly to me....

I didnt get that Penny was remarkable in the play...

I like Sheldons knock knock, and the second time he was able to do it before penny opened the door, and he felt relieved.

Liked how Howard was taking up for his friend and being supportive.  I freaking loved Raj running down the street in his UGGS!!!!!

It was weird, Leonard like had nothing to say or do...just that bit with Sheldon...the rubis cube OMG hahaha

Amy getting removed from the study

Amy and Sheldon's skype, it was cute and shows that they communicate regularly.

Overall the episode was meh...hahaha

Amy's skype was the best part. Her taunting the monkeys with the lighter... I could watch that woman argue with off screen primates all day.

I hate Screetcar, there is no way they could have performed this that I would have liked because I hate that play. I had a college professor who was friends with Tennessee Williams, he made sure we knew the body of work... It's all drunk, closeted, gay guys, drunk, brutish louts and the crazy woman they blame everything on.

Which is why Penny's performance seemed flat. Where was the crazy? I wasn't even sure she was playing Blanche. She seemed so heavy, so sane. Blanche is a bird about to take flight. Even in lucidity, she is a step away from madness. Penny was playing disillusionment and regret... Blanche was delusional and her pain should be visible.

But it wasn't a bad reading. It was a poor choice of material. With that delivery, she could have gotten away with Ibsen or Shaw.

And with that the English Lit/Speech & Debate Nerd is done talking about this.

Kunal needs to wear pants. It was distracting in a bad way. Lucy is interesting... I don't know about them as a couple yet.
