I love Bob Newhart and am thrilled he's going to be on the show.  He's such a brilliant comic actor and he traditionally plays the foil to kooky characters, so he'll be perfect alongside Sheldon.

I love the way Jim has been so enthusiastic about working with Bob Newhart.

I loved on the Kelly  & Michael interview the way he reacted when Kelly said they had a clip (the one they released earlier with them in the stairwell).  He said, "Oh, goody!  Me and Bob..." :)

LOVED this episode.  Bob Newhart's comedic timing was awesome.  Just loved him and loved seeing sheldon be innocent sweet sheldon again... and the ending just made me have warm feels... if only professor proton could stay in sheldon's life and make him happy all of the time.  :)

Grade A+: This was a very good episode seeing Sheldon meet his childhood idol Professor Proton (who reminded a few of my friends of mine on Facebook of both Mr. Wizard and Bill Nye The Science Guy) and I couldn't stop cracking up as well.

And I also loved Bob Newhart's comedic timing was awesome. Just loved him and have a feeling that this could give Bob Newhart an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series come in September.

This episode put a silly happy grin on my face.  I agree, warm feels at the end, but it was also hysterical.

Oh, and from now on, I'm "shipping" Rajamon--or Cinnaraj, whichever name you prefer.  :)

I too really liked Bob Newhart. The master of deadpan makes an old man funny!

Funny what an atonal and uninspiring "Soft Kitty" that was.

I'm not sure what to think about the lost dog storyline because I hate Raj's stupid dog. I get that he's an effeminate metrosexual in the manliest of times, but the dog is too much and makes me dislike him. And that baby carriage!
