'Bon Voyage' would indicate that Leonard's going somewhere and Sheldon thinks he should be as well. So maybe it's Leonard's turn to be away over hiatus, it was Howard last year.

One of the things I miss most from the early seasons is Penny walking up the stairs. But, as long as they keep putting her in the little black dress...........

The red dress from "Tangible Affection" is another option, if her black dress is in the Laundry. And that kitten is too cute.

Love must truly be blind, because I have no idea how Penny hasn't noticed.  :icon_wink:

The "unexpected turn" from the previous episode actually refers to the Shamy's wardrobe. (The knees!! LOL)

To quote Penny "the heart wants what the heart wants".

They need at least one stairwalk with Penny in shorts at least once a season, but maybe the little formal dresses are her style now. One of the best was the silent walk with Priya. Leonard clearly came out better on that deal. It also looks like she's either ignoring the bug report or Leonard likes her in heels more than he worries about looking like he's out on a date with mommy.

Yeah, that's right up there with "Donkey Kong in the stairwell"   :icon_eek:

Related to the topic of Penny and her attire, eventhough she is older now, and dresses more "seriously" I used to looooove the look she had in the first seasons (shorts and boots).

You answered your own question, Penny loves Leonard, she tolerates Sheldon. That's the main plot of the whole show. Sheldon abuses everyone around him, including the women around him, that really confuses me why women like him, who would want to be in such a situation.

i'm good with the heels too.(only a wee bit taller than mr galecki). but the invention of the staircase was truly inspired. So many gags and situations arise. The frosty stairwalk!!!! Lol. Havent seen Bernadette make a complete trip yet.

The pics look good. btw are these stills or frame captures?

It wasn't really a question, it was just a cheeky observation. And women like him because he's a cutie, and the character is funny. I don't know why they like the shamy though, maybe for the same reason.

at first when I read the description I was thinking maybe Leonard finally landed the tenure job and thats what making Sheldon jealous, but then I read comments so I guess it makes more sense if Leonard is going on a trip somewhere.   If it throws Penny for a loop I wonder if this means she'll not be going with him if he leaves. Will it make her want to propose to him I wonder?   Well as long as SHAMY is still together.  I should be fine.  Raj is crying in that one pic with Penny hugging him.  So his date with Lucy must not go well at all.   Excited to see Amy meet Lucy and find out why she is with them on their date lol  kind of reminds me of premiere when Raj went along on Shamy's anniversary date and annoyed Amy, haha oh dear maybe this is her payback to him.

Well looking forward to these last two episodes, its cool we get 24 episode thats more than I thought we'd get.  Lot of shows only get 22 episodes per season.  Hope they make these last two really funny ones.

I like Shamy for a variety of reasons, and Jim/Sheldon being a cutie is none of them. I mean, yes, I can see he is, but, unlike Amy's situation (the same situation in which a good porcentage of members of this forum are, I see ;) he just doesn't turn my motor on.

That aside, regarding Sheldon's abusive behaviour, I agree, it's a complete turn-off, and it also hurts my enjoyment of the character.

I feel the writers had gone too far with his characterization. His aloofness and rudeness feels forced for me now, whereas it used to come across as absolutely natural and funny to me. I also think lacks continuity, because it's not believable his behaviour and level of social awareness varies so much from one episode to another. Before, I used to believe he was just clueless, now, after so many seasons and interaction with his friends, some of his attitudes sound as deliberately cruel for me, therefore, he stops being funny. Of course (and I'm not saying this just as a shipper) I find him even more depicable when he mistreats Amy, because almost every other character just spots him as a lunatic and brush off his insults, but we all know and can see Amy gets hurt, because she is smitten by him.

So, dear writers: no, Sheldon jerkassness levels growing exponentially is not getting any funnier.

Ironically, while some fans keep pulling their hair out and crying faul because "Sheldon is changing!" and blaming Amy and their relationship for that, as I see it, the problem lies precisely in that fear of "change" the fear of letting him evolve in a natural way. And with "evolve", I'm not saying turning him into a lovely, charming, romantic guy.....come on!, like if that were possible (or desirable) He doesn't have to stop being himself, but I see no use in putting him in situations where he is uncharacteristically nice (to the point of OCness) just to have him being a giant moron next episode, for the sake of the writers sending the message "see? he is still the same!" I'd rather prefer super-slow but stable character development.

I think the key is the meaniness, I find Sheldon funny, even if he is being an ass or a nuisance, as long as it's believable he is not being one on purpose, they used to be good at that, now, it seems he actually loves to hurt, the meanier, the better. And at least for me, it doesn't work.

Sorry for going OT, seems like I just had a lot of feelings :icon_razz:
