A Really good episode. I am glad I am not one to look at any spoilers before the show. As a mater of fact I never even watch the previews, I love to see complete surprises and in this episode I got a VERY fair share of that in the end. I was completely caught off guard with Raj. The talking through the credits was hilarious.

After reading the comments I would most definitely agree with some of the cons in this episode. There were two good plots going on at once here and everything seemed rushed with all the quick scene shifting.

Number 2, Sheldon, Sheldon Sheldon. What are we going to do with you. I know you are a very funny character but there are some moments where you need to grow up. Let me tell you something (I don't know why I'm talking to you in the second person, but anyways) You are hanging on a limb with Amy so maybe you could pay attention and learn something from Leonard and Penny when you are in situations like being temporarily parked at the airport with them.

Speaking of Penny and Leonard, they were very classy in this one. Great job Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and the cast of directors.Have a wonderful off season. I am really going to miss the Big Bang Theory.

It was sad to see Lucy break up with Raj. This one looked pretty serious, but as some others mentioned here, let's hope she returns.

Sheldon is not hanging by a limb with Amy they are fine and they are the couple that have more development opportunities to come

Leonard's face when Penny says ILY first. Awwww.

That was a really great moment.  I love that she originally suggested going with him and then she didn't really want him to go but was quite supportive.

Also, I agree that Sheldon was annoying in the car but he had a couple of mature moments.  It was perceptive of him to notice that things had never been better between Lenny.  He eventually put his feelings aside to support Leonard, even if he did also use the speech as a way to tease (not the best word but I can't find a better one) Penny about her acting skills.

Loved this episode, it had everything, excellent.

Great Leonard and Sheldon interaction, Sheldon and Penny at the supermarket (so reminiscent of season 1), The dinner date with Lucy. Amy and Raj was funny.  Some really nice Lenny moments, and her genuine laugh at his joke about flushing Sheldon down the toilet, the chemistry between these two was "hot" tonight.

Loved Raj's little whisper in Howard's ear when Amy said hello, is it me or have we not seen that in a while?  Kunal pulled an amazing performance out of the bag, when Raj was talking about having lost Lucy it was heartbreaking, although when Penny mentioned having said goodbye to Leonard I got Season 4 Finale flashbacks and nightmares, thankfully they didn't go down that path again.

Simon's delivery of "it must have killed you when I went to space" - perfection!

Quick idea for Season 7 opening scene

Knock on Penny's door, she opens to find Leonard standing there, it's been four months and he had missed her so much, and she him.

"Leonard, oh my god Leonard you're back."  Penny gets on one knee  "Now will you marry me?"

R.I.P. Selective Mutism.  :)

Loved him talking over the credits.

yes I forgot to mention that in my post - for such an important and momentous occasion it was a very good choice in finishing the season. Rest well all TBBT cast and crew - cannot wait for your return.

Here's "Lucy" singing about how she feels about the breakup with Raj......She wants to be with Raj, but can't overcome her anxiety....she's messed up.

Just watched the episode again, and I like it even more the second time around.  I really enjoyed the heartfelt moments, and the scene with penny and raj was so nicely done.  I know we are a bit disappointed that sheldon was mainly just used for comic relief, but I'm now glad the writers took the time to dedicate to raj, especially after he was overlooked so much in season 5.

There were a lot of funny moments... nothing that had me laughing really hard, but enough to keep it flowing with the touching moments.  And I feel that we're going to get a lot from sheldon after leonard is gone at the opening of season 7.  It probably won't hit him as much until he is gone, and then he'll realize how much he misses and needs him.

There's so many possibilities for season 7 with this storyline... I hate to see leonard go, but I could see them doing so much with sheldon and amy and penny with him gone.  I really hope they do a good job with this opportunity.  I'm really anxious now for the new season.

And... if lucy does come back, I'd really like to see her and Amy together  more.  I think those two could become good friends.

LOL the more I rewatch the Raj/Amy/Lucy scene the more I crack up. I love how Raj goes "Now that it's out there" and Amy leans her chin on her hand and they're both looking at Lucy expectantly. Poor girl! hahah!

I like it when Penny told Sheldon to 'Shut Up' because he said something about Leonard dying at sea which she did not appreciate. I also don't mind her telling Bernadette to 'Shut Up' when she mentioned marriage, because Leonard and Penny both have a plan to cover marriage that they are both comfortable with now, so they don't need outside suggestions.

My favorite moments:

-Penny & Sheldon in the grocery store.

-Lucy looking like she was frozen again on the computer screen.

-Amy, Raj & Lucy together and Amy trying to help Lucy.

-Raj whispering in Howards ear (silly, but I miss little moments like that. LOL)

-Howard mocking Leonard & Sheldon about space.

-Sheldons "toothbrush commercial" smile after his speech.

-Leonard giving Penny the necklace and Penny saying, "I love you."

Isn't that necklace the first real piece of jewelry he has given her. The Lord of the Rings thing doesn't count.

They all are learn from one another, complement each other, the whole group is so close-knit with each other, and each pair is different but this is the best. Strange would happen, if Shamy and Lenny were exactly the same or very similar. It's not racing or competition, which pair from which need to learn, or which pair is better. Between Amy and Sheldon everything is going great.  That relationship works for them, they come, in a new and fascinating phase in their relationship.  And a lot of sweetness and great moments is waiting for them in s7.

I wonder at that snowflake- seriously I would try to get that placed at a necklace if I was her

Convict, I love that you've changed the title above your pic to "Monkeys went to space!"  That was a great line.

Episode was good. I love scene between Penny and Leonard in the car. So touching and sweet. And in whole ep. we can feel how they love each other. It was so wonderful and little touching that selective mutism is dead, I wonder how they will show it in s7. It was so funny how Raj couldn't stop talking at the end. Sheldon was annoying in the car. I expected that it will be more visible that he is jealous and that he is afraid to be alone. I like toast and that he did it for Leonard.

I will miss them during hiatus.

Not my favorite episode, but it had a LOT of great moments.

I loved how Howard was trying so hard to make his space thing bigger than Leonard's expedition.

One of my favorite lines of the season-  "I think I have to go to the bathroom"               Bye, Lucy!

What a season this was! This season had as much heart as the first two, maybe even more.

I am really hoping Leonard is gone for a few episodes, and Sheldon COMPLETELY falls apart.

Very sweet and touching episode, but just not very funny.

Tonight my partner watched for the first time the Newhart episode (which I place as a benchmark for all seaon 6), I told him beforehand that I really liked this episode and watched together, and at the the end he said - "i hardly laughed and you hardly laughed" and yet I told him it was a benchmark episode, it still held me, it didn't have to make me laugh.

I agree that the Newhart episode was a benchmark but I laughed a lot during that episode. Probably because I'm a big Newhart fan and love his distinctive style of humor.

I really liked the episode!!! Very good and I had some good laugh out loud moments! I hope they are getting rid of Raj's fear of talking to women. It was alright at first but has grown old and stale and the character needs to grow.
