Exactly!!!! It has already been implied that Sheldon thinks of Amy higher than of his friends. He wants her in his life because she is stimulating him intellectually. It would be nice if he appreciated her appearance too just like she does but an extreme make over or something like that would be OOC for Amy and for Sheldon if he liked it!!! And that has kind of happened before (on the princess makeover episode and he couldn't care less). It would be interesting though if we found out that Amy has a higher IQ..

Yes, seeing her genius while she is working could definitely lead to SIK!!! I think that would be my favourite way for that to happen!!!!

It would be really interesting for Amy to have a higher IQ than Sheldon but I doubt it because I can't see Sheldon being able to get over it! I'd much rather they had the same IQ!

 

Completely agree!!! That is my favourite SIK scenario, its over science and shows he loves her for his mind. 

Also, when(!) we do get a SIK I hope it lasts more than 2 seconds. I don't want him to maul her or anything, you know. I want it to be sweet, but hopefully not the same type of quick peck we've seen before - not that those kisses were any less meaningful! I just want to see a longer sweet kiss.

Shamy is the most beautiful romance that has ever come out of television... They are beyond comparison, unique couple. I hope we don't have to wait the next kiss for over two seasons, since last one was 5x12, and that was a short peck too not a real kiss. So I'm counting on you writers, two years is long time for a couple not to kiss at all, I don't know if it's believable, even for couple like Shamy. In case there hasn't been kissing off screen we don't know about yet.   
Why to withhold them from loving each other in their unique way at this point... It really won't ruin the show to show Sheldon showing some sign of interests in physical touch and contact with her.  I would so love to see Sheldon showing in some of his quirky ways how much he adores and loves her. Something very unique, special and shamy-like.

I think it won't do justice to a character like Amy, to make her look like only frustrated because she can't get what she wants. Amy was supposed to be "the another half" of Sheldon, and very intelligent. I hope the writers could turn this whole set upside down, make Amy so busy at her work and Sheldon going after her. I'm still waiting the writers could bring the question about her IQ in the show.

QUESTION! (if no one has already asked) When do you think Shamy will say I love you!? I think it may be a while down the line. But just imagine it, Amy...I...I love you! 
We'll all be in wonder land! I mean the last episode when Sheldon said all I can think about is kissing you on the lips (in Amys day dream) My eyes grew very big and attached to the screen haha with a ooooooooo,then awwwhh never mind It will be a very big special moment.

Well Lenny had to wait 6 seasons for an ILY soooo since Sheldon and Amy met in season 3, my guess let's say season 9 . Maybe late season 8 if the writers want to be nice.

Hopefully I'm wrong and it will be sooner :-D

Before season 7 had started I would have said I thought the I love you would come before the kiss, but with all the suttle hints/jokes about the kiss, It will definitely come first. Especially since they just said I like you to each other. Call me optimistic, but I still think they might say I love you by the end of this season. If not, then probably season 8. But you are right it will be incredibly sweet. Just picturing Sheldon say "Amy I love you" is amazing. And I've mentioned it before, but I really really want Sheldon to say it first.

Actually agree with you other then Monica and Chandler are prob the most unique romance ever in tv history, love Shamy but IMO Lenny although compared to Shamy is a very conventional relationship, its a more unique relationship then appears on the surface JMO.

I loved the shamy scene last night.  Did you notice the smile on Amy's face when Sheldon demonstrated his "social" abilities?  And, I love that she wasn't able to tell him that he was annoying because she wanted to spare his feelings.

For anyone who didn't know what was going to happen or when you read the report, did you think Amy would say it? I was convinced she would say it right before she shut the door, but I loved that she didn't because it would have hurt Sheldon's feelings.

I agree, I loved the fact that she explained him that some people can find him "annoying" but without saying it because she knew it would hurt his feelings. She knows him so well, she didn't say it even if he insisted that it would not bother him. Again she's the only one explaining him the "why" and Sheldon gets it. Then when Pr. Proton told him that in fact he is annoying, he admitted that hurts. She really understands his feelings. Good job, little lady !

 

And boy, the drugstore moment was hilarious. The exchange of smiles between them is heart warming. Best of all, I loved Amy and her shoes line ( also the way she waves her body LOL ) and the fact that PP said "Oh, ok, I get it now" Back to the couple of weirdos ! Yay

 

I was also suprise that Amy's commment at the end didn't bother me as much as I expected it. The way she delivered the line didn't sound like a sexually frustrated comment. It was funny.

 

One of the best episode of this season so far, S7 is really rockin' , and it's like it will be better and better !

I haven't paid that much attention to it, but I'm pretty sure all the scenes with them alone on the couch this season has been with Amy right next to him. I keep thinking about how last year in the Cooper/Kripke inversion, when Sheldon is upset Amy starts off sitting on the far side of the couch. Then this episode, Sheldon is upset, and she is sitting right next to him. They are getting closer and closer.

I so want it officially made her spot and recognized by everyone that it is her designated spot.   I know they are doing it subtly, but I want it mentioned and clear to everyone that no one sits there but her.    I did love that they left the spot empty in the latest episode.  That was great.

I enjoy being spoiler free and not knowing what's going to happen. But I'm still jealous of the people who are spoiled and still love watching the show. If I read spoilers, then I'm thinking too far ahead, trying to watch episode 8 tonight, I would be thinking about episode 9. So kudos to everyone who knows what works for them.
