Yeah that is quite shocking! Maybe they did notice but didn't think anybody else would!

But my guess is that they came up with the brownieline too late, and it would have been too much work putting up the whole train set one more time just to re-tape the scenes where the dessert is showing. And changing the script so that Sheldon said "Amy's lips tasted like tart" wasn't an option... cause well, it doesn't sound that good. So they just went for it the way it was and hoped no one would notice.

Tbh: I don't think the avarage viewer really did notice that. I know I wouldn't, if I was one

The biggest one is still the mistake made in the laundryroom scene in 2x01..

I think they knew people would notice the brownie thing. They liked the line and stuck it in there.

That's definitely because they filmed little "pick-ups" in the scene and the person responsible for paying attention to the details was on a coffee break or something. lol

 

There's  another episode, I can't remember which one, but the drink glasses seem to go up and down throughout the scene.

Ambidextrous Amy?

So did Amy sign with her right hand so Sheldon could stop her in that manner/set up the scene? Because later she's using her left hand to eat with her fork.

I'm just being smug because I wrote her as being ambidextrous.

I don't think Mayim is a left hander I just think she uses her left hand more cause she had that accident last year. I bet you knew that but I figured why not mention it But she could be ambidextrous I really don't know.

A couple of IMHO's

About the way Sheldon looks at Amy, it's a Jim thing. He looks at people quite intensely when not in character (look for the video's of when Jim, Simon and Kunal went to Canada, as an example) but he brings that to Sheldon as well, a kind of "eyes roaming" behavior as opposed to a fixed gaze.

The above is true, Jim I think admires the ladies on the show, there's been several occasions where when he is with Kaley in character as penny when she has low cut tops on, his eyes often drift downwards, which I believe is why the shenny shippers ship shenny so hard

New favorite hobby, going back and reading all the reactions to the kiss in the Shamy Spoiler section. It's funny half the posts are like omg yay SIK and the other half are I want to flip that stupid table over. lol There are so many posts about it, I'm on page 358, and I don't know how many pages are left. All I know is I'll stop when I get to Feb 11. I do enjoy the pictures some of you took of yourselves, although it has altered the mental image I have of some of you.

A brownie-thing could be just Sheldon's pure assosiation, so, she shouldn't obligatorily be eaten brownies before the kiss. I mean, everybody's lips (or skin) can have a taste/scent of some chocolote, milk or whatever, regardless of what the person have eaten. IMO it's totally logical .

Well I read all the reactions to the kiss and the taping of this last episode. There were so many good posts and I liked a lot of them. A few observations I made while reading all of them. I read a lot of posts so sorry I don't remember who said what.

1)  I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was obsessed with watching it over and over again. For like a week and a half, it was the first thing I saw in the morning and the last thing I saw at night.

 

 

2) Whoever suggested the Sheldon bring a train through a crossing was a metaphore is brilliant. I literally laughed out loud.
 

 

3) Whoever suggested that they have a Shamy kising expermiment where they take notes on length and what not is also brilliant.

 

 

4) The silent kiss without the audience killed me! You can hear them break the kiss. I got all kinds of new feels.

 

 

5) I don't think it was the orginal kiss I saw at the taping, I could be wrong though. It looked a little bit different to me. I was very paranoid that their lips would not move because I was so certain they did and I didn’t want to be the person who said their lips moved when they didn’t.

 

 

6) Even with everything the kiss has, my favorite part is still the very begining when he leans in and kisses her. It was the only part I could remember after the taping and it is such a big leap for his character, that I love it even more. I constantly will watch the kiss and rewind just to watch him initialize it
 

 

7) I expect some interesting Shamy stories in the future. Closer to the finale, I think things will get interesting.
 

 

8 )  Did they tape the next two episodes out of order? This will significantly affect me whether or not I can read spoiler posts after the next episode comes out.

For me, I had a feeling the kiss was coming after I figured out it was the Valentine's Day episode. When he says "oh kissing's romantic", my brain was like omg did he just say that. When he lunged forward to kiss her I leaned forward in my seat. I was on cloud nine for the whole 11 seconds or so of the kiss and held my breath when it ended and they were staring at each other.

 

For the rest of the audience, I heard people gasp when he lunged toward her and then shout things like aww and wow. Some people were standing in their seats leaning closer to the screen hoping to get a closer look at it. I could feel the whole audience holding their breaths during the aftermath of the kiss.

 

The worst thing in the world was when the director said we were moving on and we wouldn't be able to see the kiss again. lol

Since a few people dislike the idea that Shamy made out off screen and that's why Sheldon tasted brownies on Amy's lips, though the dessert they had for dinner didn't look like a brownie, I have come up with a solution to the problem: white chocolate brownies.

I looked at a few pictures of the episode and compared them with some google images of white chocolate brownies.

Doesn't the dessert look like this brownie without the ice cream?

Or something like this, but cut into bigger pieces?

Sorry if this is a repeat question. I haven't been in the show threads enough to keep up with the speed of posts. 

 

When you go to a taping there are some scenes that they film live but you can't really see them do it, you can only see it on the monitors. The train set was built on the right part of the stage and all I could see was the back of the entrance door they go through at the very begining. I'm not sure but if I remember right all the train scenes were pretaped (as in we were just shown a playback on the screen) but the kiss scene was done live for the audience. I'm not sure why people were standing leaning towards the right, I think they thought they might catch a glimpse of the aftermath or something, then again I leaned so far into my seat like some how I needed to be closer.

Although I must say you people crack me up , I just read the flipping tables prank on the S7 spoiler page. I thought you all were serious and I was like okay a lot of heavy Shamy shippers left the thread after reading one half of the taping report for the Table Polarization. I didn't think they would jump ship so quickly. That must have been a tough taping report to go through. I read it and it was extremely vague. I don't know how you all handle reading reports that are that vague.

You all overanalyze taping reports like I over analyze promo pics, press realases, and video promos. Last week I came up with an elaborate theory/plot where Amy's "oh yes I would like to take a survey" was an actual survey from the Relationship Agreement, and Sheldon questioned her about every response. It was a lot of fun! lol

What do you think will happen for the Shamy in the finale? Do you think it will be something positivie or negative? I go back in forth in my head, part of me thinks it might be a mutual kiss or an I love you, but the other part of me thinks it will have them break up in the finale. Shamy breaking up would be very hard to deal with but it would still be immensely fun getting them back together. I think the worst case scenario is nothing significant at all happens for Shamy in the finale. And by finale I mean the last 2 or 3 episodes, not necessarily the last episode. Anyways I would love to know anyone's opinion on this. Please remember that I know nothing about what happens for Shamy in the two episodes they have already taped.

They could break them up, but since we already had that just now, I don't think they will go back to that so soon.

 

I think something work related comes up, which has the chance of seperating them, and leaving things on the cliff of said person (Sheldon or Amy) goes through with it.

 

Or it could "just" be something very positive like an ILY or I am in love with you.

I really don't know.

Oh I really like the idea of an I am in love with you moment. I think Amy is more likely to say I am in love with you and Sheldon is more likely to say I love you. I like the idea of a cliff hanger for them, but I'm not sure what I would do all summer. lol L)
