More, yes. Just not the majority of the time, yet. :)

Can we even name the number of times Leonard has been allowed to do this very thing since the latter part of Season Six.  It happens so rarely it's almost like seeing an unicorn.

The girl wearing the pants in the relationship is yet another sitcom trope, so it didn't hither me. I was more annoyed with Bernadette's line about giving Howard an advance on his allowance considering the fact that he contributes to their household. Her treating him like a child isn't necessary or warrented the way it is with Sheldon. She's way more emasculating.

Penny is absolutely nothing like Al Bundy or Sam Malone, everyone sure does love to jump to huge analytical conclusion over a few throwaway lines.

Some of the TV show experts here .. please define what Throwaway lines are?

I'd define them as lines in a sitcom said solely for the purpose of cheap humor and/or filling up time. That is how I'd define almost every scene that didn't have JEJ in it last night, especially the girl's part. But of course it has lead to all this talk of Penny becoming Katie/Al Bundy and not accepting Leonard and all those other things.

The whole point of last night's episode was to point out the character's immaturity. Penny's laughing at real-life slapstick, three near middle aged men playing dress up (or wanting to) , and Amy staying in a relationship with someone who is not capable of maturing. Everyone is putting more stock into things than necessary.

I sort of miss season 6 Valentines Day Leonard.

Anyway shouldn't the next taping (7.17) be a Lenny heavy episode or does the table story qualify as Lenny heavy?

Inside every old person is a kid wondering what the hell happened.

I don't want to grow up because that would mean no more motorcycles. (No sane adult would ride a motorcycle.)

Look what happen to all of Season 6 efforts to give Penny a nice Valentines Day.  Penny says she not into VD so why would Leonard try and be romantic ninja again?

I see 7.16 as being L/P/S heavy with a little L/P thrown in since it was more about Sheldon and his craziness.  I won't even try and guess what 7.17 will be about.

Penny's acting prospects haven't really been discussed yet. The last couple episodes have suggested a lack of money. I could see a heavy Lenny episode about that. The last episode with the furniture seemed like a Shamy episode.

So, you calling me insane?   :p

My brother flys medevac helicopters, he calls motorcyclists "organ doners". You be careful out there.

If there was an honorary title for posting music on the forum, I would be awarding it to you today.  ;)

That's OK, one award a day is enough. :dancer:

More of a self evaluation, since I own three. BTW I have dropped motorcycles on my left foot twice, so I feel for Leonard.

I had a fully loaded Ultra Classic (and by fully loaded, I mean two up, with all three bags full) bend my ankle the wrong way leading to a high ankle sprain.   Tried to turn around on a slight slope and being full and the CG high, it went over, catching my foot.  The damned thing looked like a rainbow after a couple of days.

The bike or the ankle? ;)

You know another thing, that seemed to me, to go unresolved was that Leonard wanted to discuss where they were in their relationship but Sheldon jumped in before they could talk.

Yeah and having the stupid heavy thing laying on you foot makes it impossible to pick up. My left ankle is permamently larger than my right due to motorcycle damage.

.......

After Sheldon interrupted the conversation, I got the feeling it was a way for the writers to ignore Leonard's question until  some later date or completely.  This question has to be answered and soon because to me something is off about Leonard and Penny relationship this season and I feel that Penny see the relationship differently than what Leonard does.  Leonard see it as partnership while Penny doesn't so much.  And please before anyone get upset and think I am bashing Penny --- I am not.  I just don't get the feeling that Penny isn't all in, which I feel 7.12 and 7.13 showed us.

Leonard did infer that they seemed to be in two different places, I thought that was sort of a big deal, but then Sheldon jumped in and they made up, so I don't know if it was something that will be addressed again. I do think they will have to address Leonard's support for her, in a future episode, and I hope they handle it better, because last time Leonard seemed OOC to me.

For me the reconciliation line from Sheldon and then them drinking juice/coffee or whatever seemed to be the end of plot/story

I agree that Leonard was OOC but how else would Sheldon fit into the storyline?  We know the history of who has supported Penny and who has not.

How much longer can Leonard and Penny be at to different places in the relationship (I mean we went through this in Season 3) and it's gotten old and makes no sense to me.  I still say the questions needs to be talked about and some kind of answer is need from Penny or else the relationship won't work.

You may be right about this but it doesn't sit right with me.  If Leonard has to answered for how he didn't show enough support for Penny quitting  TCF , them I feel Leonard has a right to an answer to his question.

He did'nt say anything regarding his question after Sheldon said they reconciled. So either he was satisfied or he just chickened out , which would be his fault.
