Tensor
I always wondered if that stuff was real especially the hologram machine While the holograph machine could creat the images, finger control, as Leonard demonstrated, is beyond current capabilities. As our lighter than air friend mentioned, the levitating ball does work. It was just too damn noisy to tape, so they used a fake ball and a stick from under the table to levitate it in the scene.I cite you. At least three time now I've plugged "Chew Toy". (such a suck up, me) Your cites are appreciated.

I was thinking about how they did the program, I know they can map the pencil no problem and the control part well far fetched but I thought possible, a couple of sensors and infrared laser and its done ... a lot of software but not out of the realm of possibility..... It can't be done as it is shown in the show, the levitating ball could be done shown. Much like the 3-D "scanner" Howard and Raj used to create their models. The scanners required are much larger than the kinect they used
terriblewaitress
I can't believe this went from talk of wireless bras/no bras to the accuracy of the sciencey stuff used in the show labs... this must be what life is like for Leonard and Penny. Tensor
Yeah, the problem is they still need four of them it doesn't capture color, and the output isn't very detailed. If you look around that site, they do have High definition portable scanners, but none of them are hand held. HDI doesn't quote a price, but I found a 500,000 pixel capture scanner (that does do color, sort of) for a base price of $14,000. The high definition HDI cameras that do actual color are 1.5 million pixel capture, so you can imagine the price for that one. If you thought Bernadette was pissed at spending $5,000 for a 3-D printer, I wonder what her reaction would have been for the proper scanner. eirwinrommel
I just watched that episode (season 6 Episode 5). My question is They had coitus (twice) in a Tardis PHOTO BOOTH. Where are the pictures and if he wanted to prove Penny's his girlfriend why didn't he use them? Sent by a coconut held on a piece of vine carried by two European swallows. eirwinrommel
He also maybe still had the picture from "Bakersfield" too. As for the Tardis pictures, maybe they were 'worn out' from over(one)handeling and he needed something that he could show others. On an unrelated point Amy said: No. There are certain things that say to the world, I have a boyfriend, and he’s not made up. Matching costumes, hickeys and sex tapes. Pick one. She should have said pick two, then she would have gotten some action. Sent by a coconut held on a piece of vine carried by two European swallows. I see the meshes it creates, which would then be exported to a modeling program and the color could be added there. And I don't see how it would work using one hand held scanner, for a full size human. You would have to stitch it together and I'm not sure (at least I don't see it on their website) as to how that would be accomplished, hand held. I'll revise to say I see it might be possible, but I don't how that in particular would work (at least from their website).

I next want to go to an examination of the false nexus between brassier wearing and morality. It escapes me that it can be a moral choice to wear an undergarment. I'd think it was largely a practical one. Penny gets it in the neck because she has dressed casually and from the pages of Cosmo. Sometimes she dresses with intent, "this top has got me free drinks", and sometimes she is just being comfortable. But I could be wrong. (I did see a note today that some religious types forbade brassieres because they showcase the chest. Sound more like fetish to me but what do I know) Um... Go.(?) He later said: Oh well, maybe we are all done with brassieres then. I tried. LOL. If religious types don't like the way a bra draws attention to the chest they should consider that a unrestrained chest will move much more (imagine Penny jogging without a bra, I know I am, or Bernie, [she could put an eye out]). As we know the eye is drawn to movement, so maybe they should reconsider their opposition to the bra. There, I brought the discussion back with some relevant facts. We all need to go to google and get as many pictures of attractive women both with and without bras. We can then all swap pictures and everyone can rate their apparent morality on a scale of 1 to 10. We can then calculate whether or not women without bras seem more or less immoral than those with bras. Come on everyone, hop to it. Do it for SCIENCE!!! We will need volunteers to act as a controls for gender bias. Like Raj, I am ready to help out there. As I am sure will any of the other putative males that post here. However, meritorious as your research proposal may be, I think it will require its own forum and Tripper might be concerned about it being too far off topic. Its more s2 Howard, than L/P. And I don't think it will get past the ethics committee.

And as she ages for Penny. As for Amy we won't know until we see under all the layers of polyester and wool. BTW doesn't it get kinda hot in LA for all the Wool and Polyester Amy wears, and the Hoodie Leonard wears?
