What Does S7 Need To Have To Make You Happy?

I'd like to see another Biology/Physics smack down ("defecates Clark Maxwell." is such a great line.), but in a twist, Amy and Bernadette aren't fighting with Howard and Sheldon, but Leonard and Raj. Putting Howard, Sheldon and Penny in the middle of the war zone. All three are torn between their best friends and their SO's. Agreeing with their friends, but proud as they see the ruthless combat skills that their romantic partners possess.

I would love to see different scene pairings, Bernadette with Sheldon and Leonard, Amy and Penny with Howard and Raj.

And a group costume for Halloween... Batman's Rogue Gallery.

TBH I think Shamy is well beyond the point of that almost analytical, logical forced Female Sheldon 2.0 relationship we saw in S5. The reason why Amy has changed and she is more a cross between bernie and penny now then "Female Sheldon", is change is the only constant. Amy is a women at the end of the day she needed to know after 2 years her relationship with Sheldon was going some where, I like how Amy has gone from almost cold and logical, to now warm and more animated almost like Sheldon has become. Do I miss Deadpan Sheldon? Yeah sure but the ability to evolve over time makes great sitcoms, I just think S7 they need to find that balance, I want it to 90% about Science, thats what made in unique in the first place.

As i think Raj can now talk to woman without having drinks, may be he could get hooked up with Sheldon's Assistant Alex.

As Alex also has interest in Astro Physics they would make a cute couple.

I would like to see Sheldon in a common place situation that makes him supremely uncomfortable that we haven't seen him in before.   Like serving jury duty.   Can you imagine Sheldon stuck in a room with 11 other people he considers to be his inferiors who all disagree with him and won't change their minds.   A classic homage to "12 Angry Men".

OMG!!  Sheldon getting jury duty!  Man..... if someone here has connections- hehe- Get the word out on this!  This has SO much potential does anyone else see maybe even two episodes devoted to this?!

He's such a goofball, though, I'm sure he'd say something inappropriate during the screening process and wouldn't make it to the actual jury.  But it could be funny seeing him going through the screening process.

He would probably be a good candidate on paper--very smart, highly educated, probably hasn't followed the case in the news (he doesn't seem to follow the news much except about bobcat sightings...)

Maybe filling out a questionnaire might be an issue, but certainly once the lawyers were doing their voir dire, Sheldon would probably come up with all kinds of inappropriate answers, probably confusing or frustrating both the prosecution and defense lawyers and the judge as well. :p

What if Penny and Sheldon were on the same jury and had different verdicts and fought over them, in front of the rest of the jury.  I could see the whole jury getting on Penny's side.  The end would have to be that Penny's verdict was the right one, of course, street logic being the winner over Sheldon's physics.

I'd love to see more science but I think those days are behind us.  :(

I'd be happy with more episodes like Closet that incorporated the entire cast into one plot and a touch of sentimentality.  Other than the Shamy snark I think it was probably the best written episode of the season.

I want to see more sience and I hope those days are not gone. Without the science and geerk/nerd culture it just becomes an average sit-com.

Would this be too much to hope for....

Sheldon with a more flattering hair style.

I know that the cast's hair and wardrobe are designed to make them appear nerdy; but, Sheldon would be even more adorable with fluffy hair.

I'm waiting for him to have "Mad Scientist" hair myself. Yes, it seems fickle, but we are human and therefore have weaknesses....

I would love to see Penny advance her life somehow.  The reality (and I know this is a sitcom- so doesn't really deal with realities) is that most people that want to become actors in Hollywood never make it, but I would like to see her advance somehow.  I would like to see less of Amy and Bernie, I like both of the characters, but I think they need to step them back a bit, use them less but better.  I want a return of "arrogant" Sheldon, I think with the escalation of the Lenny relationship there is room for so much interaction between Leonard, Penny and Sheldon, perhaps some problems with Penny tagging along (as Sheldon would have it) when in reality Lenny see it that Sheldon is tagging along.

I too want Penny's father back.

I was thinking it might be funny if Lisa Kudrow was Penny's mother, divorced of course, and she had a thing for Raj.

The only problem is that remember Sheldon has seen photos of Penny's mother, so we assume that she is rather large?

Ah HA! There you are. I've seen Convict 13 floating about the place and I'll be damned if I wasn't CERTAIN of what it was referring to. Haunted House, Cops, Goat, Convict 13 and Hard Luck are probably my favourites. I'll start a thread when I have the inspiration.

I think the greatest dynamic of the show was always the trichotomy of Penny/Leonard/Sheldon. Leonard as the pulse, the stabliser, drawn hither and thither by the worldly manner of Penny and the abstract idealism of Sheldon.

I also like the other characters, but an art form needs a keystone or focus, and a trichotomy is classic.

I wholeheartedly agree.

I'm fed up with the excuse that Penny can't make it as an actress so they give her absolutely no work at all, not even a few more commercials. Even I was shortlisted for a commercial and I'm not even an flippin actor…. And it was for Colgate!

I in the middle of writing an Essay comparing Go West to Wild Wild West, and I only have lovely things to say about Go West, one of my favourite Buster movies, don't get me started on Buster, I'll never shut up.

His leading lady was a cow. And WHAT a leading lady!

ACH we must start a thread. I'm trying to get Willo the Wisp and a few others into Keaton. I used to run Keaton films out the back of my old Bookshop in Sydney. Last year I (mildly) violently took over the Gatsby Club in Glasgow, and screened Keaton in the cloakroom.

I wholeheartedly agree.

Er...what HAPPENED here exactly? What were you doing? People don't arbitrarily shortlist me for commercials....Although I once ended up in a Belle and Sebastian film...I'm still not sure what happened there....

Completly agree when Sheldon is playing hypnotenuse between Lenny, that is when TBBT is at its absoloute best, and up their with Friends, Cheers, Seinfeild JMO. One scene in S3 I remember Sheldon was trying positive reinforcement behavoral modification technique on Penny, some of the funniest moments in the shows run.

Nice.

I have a friend involved in market research and he asked me if wanted to earn a bit of extra cash. I freelance and happened to have some downtime, so I thought why not. Turns out, it wasn't what they said it was, they were scouting for a commercial. I got down to the final 5. What can I say, I have good teeth. It's actually very easy to get that sort of thing. I find it daft that a pretty girl like Penny has got nothing except one commercial in 6 yrs.

I think was it Prady or Maloro said they weren't to keen on revealing the background going ons of the tv industry. And if Penny got a recurring role that would require another set, and I think thay costs too much. And I think the writers ohink its more realistic having a pretty blonde girl next door working as a waitress struggling as an actress. But I do agree like to see Penny attending auditions and commercials, kinda like they did with Joey in Friends.

IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE. I've always found Parsons' Quiznos commercial to be a terribly amusing example of what you must be prepared to do as a commercial actor. As for Penny, yes, it's a bit odd. But what I find particularly baffling is the preposition that she's an actor/ress, yet apparently has no actor/ress friends or activities. All the "actors" I know (and yes, in quotation marks, like Penny) are deeply entrenched in the acting world. And god help them.
