WHY are you guys surprised we get another L/S/P plot? They are still the 3 main characters and it's been there from the start! Are you even complaining about S1-3 because there's no Amy? You are judging the episodes based on a small text, that's ridiculous.

Yes, I am one of the viewers that got tired of L/P/S plot during Seasons 1 thru 3.  It has nothing to do with Amy for me, it was about overuse of Sheldon and using Leonard and Penny relationship for foddler for Sheldon.

eta:  Still say Sheldon is overused and so what if L/P/S are the main characters doesn't mean we can't away from the same old, same old every now and then.

eta:  please forgive me if this came off as offensive.  Didn't mean for it too.

OMG. How could she leave us hanging like that?! Hahaha. I am really nervous about what freaked her out now that I won't be able to go back to sleep, and it's 5 AM. Dang.

Don't worry. "I don't want to give everything away" does sound like there's something really good happening.

Over react much?

This isn't season 1 anymore, they aren't the only main characters anymore imho.

Especially Amy has claimed her spot amongst them, but also the others have in a way.

Like others have said so much better then I can, seeing the same 3 characters interact episode after episode gets boring after a while.

How offensive!

Fortunately, even if the L/S/P plots are usually boring, there always is something else which is interesting.

But L/S/P being the 3 main characters doesn't prevent me from saying that I want something new.

Look at the threads in season 4 and 5. It's interesting to see how Amy was rejected by many viewers then. But now most viewers like her. Things do change. I wish the L/S/P changes.

They ARE the 3 main characters, get over it! If you are bored, stop watching the show. It's that simple!

There is no need for that people are just saying their opinion. And I don't believe they have a problem with the 3 main characters together but the fact that it is a constant plot. I am Shamy and I wouldn't like Shamy plots all the time...

Indeed. Or viceversa, I don't enjoy seeing Sheldon used as a plot device so they can create friction between Lenny and regress him on what progress he has made. It's got absolutely nothing to do with Amy and Shamy, for me. Like I said about 7x13, I would have rather see Sheldon help Bernadette with the comic books than get involved in Leonard and Penny's affairs.

L/P/S stories, as of late, seem to irritate a lot of Lenny fans, Sheldon fans, and Shamy fans.

eta: I can't get back into chat either :(

Ha! I just noticed a set mistake in this photo! The DNA Sheldon made in Luminous Fish should not exist prior to meeting Leonard.

Why would it not exist? I look at that, and what Sheldon was making, and get the impression that it's something that can be taken apart and reassembled like legos. I thought that Sheldon was taking it apart and turning it from a DNA sculpture (like in this picture) to his silicone DNA sculpture.

As for the table, given the lack of furniture before Leonard's arrival, we don't know just how much (if any) of the furniture belongs to Sheldon. All we know is that Leonard is allowed to control part of the common areas.

Season 3 episode 22

Past Leonard: According to the roommate agreement, I’m entitled to allocate 50% of the cubic footage of the common areas.

You could argue, that even if ALL the furniture is Leonard's that he still has room for more.  At the least, he could dispose of the Island  to gain more room.  A bigger question is what does the table mean for the future. In the dynamic of the Apt. (pre Penny) there only needed to be room for four people. Everything was centered around the coffee table and the couch and Leonard's chair.  In the last couple of years, while they've added more people they have dispersed the meeting areas so there are almost no occasions where more than five people are present. The table is only needed if they plan to return to L/S 's Apt as a frequent meeting place for the whole group. The whole group (seven people (eight with Stewart, or Raj's GF [if any] and ultimately as many as ten if Stewart gets a GF) requires more places to sit.  While there are as many as nine seats (3 on the couch Leonard's chair, Penny's chair, 2 desk chairs, and 2 stools) they would look strange all crowded into an area around the coffee table. With Penny no longer working at TCCF they don't have a place where the entire group can sit and eat together.

A table could also be a precursor to Penny moving in. It would allow two groups to meet in the same Apt. while allowing some separation of the groups.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it was in the room prior to Luminous Fish?

eta: No, sorry, I was wrong. It's there. I take it back.

Btw, I don't mean they should cut out L/P/S plots altogether, just the the formula of those plots has gotten boring, IMO. If they could revamp them a little and change them somehow, I'd be all for that. What about giving them an annoying upstairs neighbor that all three gang up against? :p

I have no idea how this episode will turn out for Shamy but I am actually quite satisfied with the Lenny plot. It is really nice that we get to see for once Penny taking Leonard's side in his argument with Sheldon. Again, Sheldon is also acting like a mouthpiece for Lenny when he underscores how much Leonard has changed since Penny has come to his life. On that note, it's pretty awesome that we get to see for once how Penny has affected Leonard. Lot of people presume that Penny doesn't add anything to the relationship and this episode will definitely change their mind.

Yes, isn't it obvious? Leonard just wants sex... (this was sarcasm, btw) I like the idea of Leonard being on Penny's side. She really needs that now and after 7.13, I'm happy we get to see this.

It's so much more refreshing than Sheldon/Penny kind of tagteaming against Leonard or w/e it is we got in the past few episodes.

Tell me about it.  I was so sick and tired of P/S ganging up on Leonard that I wanted to pimp slap both P/S and the writers.

eta:  Man I can't express how much this bother me.
