Whiterose
The taping report was good, and I am happy that she posted it for us, but it made my head hurt.lol Think it is an episode that just needs to be seen to be understood!
koops
I am a big big fan of the Relationship Agreement, so I would not want to see it go. However, I do wonder whether this is the end for it. I do think that the report is way too vague to really understand what goes on in the episode, but, if Amy really signs it and then they go back to dating as if nothing happened, this might be a set up for the season finale. Shamy date for months with an invalid RA and only realize at the next review that it has been invalid all that time. What do they do? Re-activate it or go without? What would the repercussions be? Would Sheldon think they're broken up? They might of course just ignore the whole detail altogether and write it as if they annulled the breakup off screen. Who knows. phantagrae
It's a possibility. The problem is that the report is too vague to rely on. We won't really know what happens until the episode airs. So overreacting to the report (by threatening to quit watching the show) just shows how little real dedication some people have to their 'ship'. If they were really 'shippers' they'd stick even during hard times. Instead they're just 'sunshine shippers'. You do realize, of course, that none of us are really leaving the show or flipping tables or cussing out Steve Molaro, right? I have no issues with the episode nor really with the taping report apart from the fact that there isn't much detail or dialog. But it doesn't strike me as worthy of any kind of panic or concern. Which was the point. Edited January 29, 2014 by phantagrae

I think this is the most unsettling part of the report. It isn't clear so it is hard to know what happened with the RA. Personally, I too am a fan of it and I know both Amy and Sheldon placed a lot of value on it. Therefore, some dots need to be connected here. When he apologized to her, did he say they no longer need it because they knew in their hearts they belong together? If that is the case, then I think the show will be great. But if it is left hanging that she has terminated the relationship by signing the termination in the Agreement and all he does is apologize to her for stressing her, then it won't seem as "complete". It still feels like there is a piece missing and the RA was never discussed after it was terminated. That would be bothersome to me. I am like Sheldon, I need that closure. I was assuming the "meltdown" was all in jest...that everyone was making a faux meltdown because of a confusing report more than anything. I'm pretty sure he didn't say the bolded part... He's not a hippy, after all. I'm sure there's something we're missing in regard to her signing. Sprinkles said "it didn't count", so maybe there's a moment where he erases her signature or deletes the termination agreement or whatever. They apparently talk through some things while they're there at her apartment so who knows. But I think that if they were really to do away with the RelAg and/or nullify her signing the termination, they're likely to give us a clear explanation of that. I actually think the ambiguity about the RA is a fantastic arc for the rest of the season. If it all were resolved right now, there would be no story to tell. I think this might lead to Sheldon realize that he doesn't need the RA because he went for months happily without it? Like I said, I'd be sad to see the RA go, but it might be a big sign of growth for Sheldon.

cas
Although having Amy and Sheldon as roommates would have the potential for some very comical moments , I think it would be just too soon , remember the producers said everything moves at a snails pace on this show
