Good point about the table. What other reason would there be to buy a table unless Penny's eventually moving in. But again this could all be a plan to trick the fans into thinking that.

As I pointed out earlier, since Penny quit the CCF they don't have a place where the entire group can sit and eat. There's only room for 6 to sit near the coffee table (without blocking the camera) and that's crowding things. To fit more than 5, someone has to sit on the floor, on a chair/couch arm or on the box at the end of the couch near the door. There are 9 chairs/places to sit (3 on couch, L & P each have chairs, 2 stools by island, and 2 desk chairs) and before they added A, B, S, (and possibly GF's for S & Raj) sitting around the coffee table was no problem, but now there's just not enough room.

I'm new here,although I've been a lurker for over a year.

First off,English is not my native language,cause I'm a Asian. If I've been using any word wrong,feel free to point it out.

Secondly,regarding the whole"drama" about Sheldon kinda breaking up with Amy,

my 2 cent is the writers were using it to ultimately help the Shamy  getting rid of the restriction of the RA.

Why would anyone think it's funny to act like that?  Again, last year the meltdowns were very real, not at all funny for the people experiencing them.  I had to distance myself to keep from getting caught up in all the despair.  Besides, anyone not in on the so-called "joke" was either very confused or very worried about the emotional stability of those here.  NOT COOL.

I thought people are pretty angry but sure it's not for a long time. Why not? When I see somebody being in trouble, I have a urge to help. Anyway, it looks like people are laughing at the others who don't know what to do.

THIS! I'm sorry I am a Shamy shipper, but I think this would be interesting. Sheldon get's a new aide who likes him. Amy is not worried because she thinks Sheldon is only into her. Everyone agrees. The aid force kisses Sheldon, Sheldon who recently discovered that he likes kissing and all the physical stuff that goes along with it…kisses back, caught by Amy. They break up over the summer…Sheldon is dating other women but miserably…he confess his love to Amy.

 

I mean they keep portraying Sheldon to an adolescent. He has finally gone thru puberty! His hormones could be kicking in…I can see it done and not be OOC.

I wasn't there for that part, but when I got in the chat, the 2nd part wasn't up.

We were worried, or confused is the better word, due the fact the report is incomplete and vague.

The meltdown was extreme but to me it was believable.  Last year there were real (at least I think they were real) full-on meltdowns over Sheldon's comments that he wished Amy were dead and that during movies her wanting to hold his hand was like she was a bear and he was a "trash can full of sweets".  It is perfectly reasonable to expect a bigger reaction when he tries to break up with her.

Have I ever freaked out over a taping report, or half of one before? Have I ever been against Steve Molaro!

I mean, really. We were reacting to all of the negative comments that started in the spoiler thread just after the first half of the report was posted.

And there was no meltdown in chat. We were discussing various fine points of the Amy/Sheldon discussion when he went to break up with her, pretty much parsing out sprinkles' use of the word "manipulation" and all that. But no one was panicking or flipping out.

I'm a Shamy but I agree with you.  Please just don't lump us all in together.  Plenty of us aren't like that.  IMO, pranks like these give us all a bad name.

If you recall, whatever griping went on over the things from last season, nothing was this silly. And since there were so many of us doing he exact same thing at the exact same time, I think it would have been pretty obvious that it was just a goof.

 Freaking out is a common symptom of being a hardcore fan so it's not like we were dying or having heart attacks, I can understand it not being funny if we were faking that. People always say the shamys freak out over stuff they don't know enough about, so that's exactly what we decided to do, since the report was so vague. We were laughing at ourselves, that was all.

 

Anyway, as I said above the report really isn't detailed enough at all to be able to say anything final on it. But I don't blame sprinkles, she kinda had the task pushed on her last minute there . The second half is interesting, I sorta took the fact that Sheldon was letting Amy talk for him as an indication that he felt pretty bad about what he did. I'm actually glad moving in was brought up again, even if Amy didn't quite get what she wanted this time, it shows the subject is on the writer's minds....Possibly . Who knows, now I'm dying to see how this plays out on screen!

Bottom line, all the fun you guys had unfortunately stirred some sh!t up. I actually believed it (as you could see by my posts when it started) for a minute before realizing it was all fake. Why did I believe it? Because some of the same posters pulling the prank today I've witnessed pretty dramatic posts from at one point or another when something on the show didn't go their way...and here they are today, seeming to mock that same type of behavior? I didn't want to say anything earlier and cause more drama but I knew the end result of this, "Bazinga" wasn't going to end well.

What Tensor did was funny. This wasn't. I mean, "Fuck Molaro?" That's just wrong.

ETA: I wasn't going to say a word about what I thought until I started reading mocking comments about how people can't take a joke.

^Yeah when I saw those comments I thought something was seriousley wrong, their are alot of people who may take things to heart, so regardless if it was just sarcasim it did stir things, it's best to show full disclosure in your posts just to be fair to everyone who posts JMO.

When we saw that some people were getting upset (Raamaa, Jaime for example) who didn't know what was happening, we immediately told them in a PM and they joined us in the chat, where we filled them in.

I don't think any of us isn't aware of the fact that we overanalyze and overreact to reports. Being able to joke about yourself means you don't take yourself too seriously and it's pretty healthy. It surely made the report and wait for the second part more bearable for some in chat who were feeling down about it, if anything.

I also think there's a big difference between criticism and negativity and drama/meltdowns. But that's another story I guess.

I thought Phanta flipping tables was a pretty huge give away. Not to mention the fact that everyone posted essentially at the same time with one liners about tables. Not to mention Lio's suffle gif (I'm still laughing at that one).

I totally get it. I don't understand the other thing: was it to hard to invite ALL the people to paricipate?
