Poor Penny, that looks so bad.  Kaley must have hated having that hair put on her.

I wonder if they applied the hair to skin pieces and then applied those to her body.  It would be much easier and faster than actually applying the hair to her actual body.

Yup! Now he just needs a fez and a sonic screwdriver, and the ultimate cool look will be complete. :biggrin:

I still wonder why TPTB didn't do anything for the 50th anniversary back in November.  I mean, Sheldon watches Dr. Who every Saturday morning and they had Smith and Tennant in the same movie along with Billie Piper and Jenna Coleman.  And the series is hotter than ever.

Looking at the Serial Apeist photos makes me even sadder. :(:icon_cry:

 

I love the set designers on this show!  They put so much wonderful detail into the sets.  Pix #2 of the "Gorilla" epi, shows an angle into the kitchen we don't see very often...and we get a fun little item!

I'll be on the lookout for one on my next trip to Bed, Bath, and Beyond! ;-)

 

(BTW, how do you add a full sized image from your PC to a post, not the thumbnail...I feel like I must be missing something incredibly obvious...but I am stumped!)

 

ETA:  Thanks stedaneri...yeah, I tried copy/paste (even using ctrl+v).  Thought it might be a Chrome browser issue...so tried in Firefox.  I could paste the image (jpg), but kept getting an error message: "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." when trying to submit.  Weird!

For posting a full size image, you could copy the image and then paste it here. I did that with the Will hot pic  :girlhide:

Yeah, they have a tendency to do that with big Lenny moments. They are quiet about what happens with Lenny and push the other plots. They do like to push things that can be ambiguous, like something will happen (the implication that Leonard may propose in the season 6 Valentine's Day episode.

The Gorilla Dissolution: Penny evaluates her life after do so well in the Gorilla move and decides to break up with Leonard (the dissolution). :diablo:

I think people are putting way too much credit on this being a "catalyst" for anything. If it were meant to be a catalyst for anything, Amy would have had some sort of reaction, not just standing there and taking it. This is going to go up in smoke in the premiere like Leonard's trip didn't amount to anything, like Raj and Penny didn't amount to anything. These writers don't have the guts to make big changes. They had their big shocking finale and things are going to go back to status quo next season. Unless what? Lenny move Sheldon into 4B while he's away? What makes you think that Sheldon will come back from this a changed man and become more of the boyfriend Amy needs him to be? And if after 4 years he still refuses to give much of anything to her and even mocks the prospect of settling down with her, why would I buy that it is realistic for Amy to stick with him in the hope that ONE DAY he will be half as invested in this relationship as she is? That's my problem with the writing: it's becoming harder and harder for me to buy into anything because for the sake of shock and humor and lack of planning nothing makes sense. I truly, honestly, don't understand WHY Sheldon and Amy are in a relationship, at this juncture.

 

What irritates me beyond belief is that it is NEVER about Amy. It's always about SHELDON: he's not ready, he's scared, he's freaking out, he doesn't know if he loves her, he doesn't know if he's attracted to her, he doesn't understand this, he doesn't understand that. Meanwhile, I have to buy that it is realistic for her to stick around waiting for him to see the light? She's all fine and good with everything? He goes an breaks up with her on a whim, she manipulates him to stay together, then he mocks the idea of settling down with her and leaves without so much of a goodbye, like she factors less than zero in his decisions, and she's FINE with it?! 

unfortunately, Amy is only a supporting character whether we choose to admit it or not. Therefore, the writers can literally do whatever they feel will support their main character,Sheldon...even if that means making her a doormat. If they choose to change Amy... (give her Penny's  status in the group) then we can expect FIREWORKS! :girldevil:  :biggrin:

The big three will always be the big three! They began the show as the main three and will end it that way. Penny, Leonard and Sheldon (Kaley, Johnny and Jim) even negotiate their contracts as a group.

Also if the three great they are Leonard Sheldon and Penny,the success of the series depends on the whole group . It is correct that every character develops in the better way possible. Also I believe that Amy must be less tame in the next season. Sheldon will understand that it loves her only if he will be about to lose her.. I don't know how, but I believe that "Jealousy" will be the key word to wake up Sheldon. In the season 5 have been so, and I think that this trial will be still necessary for him.
