I'm not sure... I did a quick search and apparently the awards are taking place on Sunday, November 11, 2018, but that's all I've got.

Quick notice. We have updated our rules to include guidance on social media posts. We only allow social media content to be posted that can be directly linked and then "embedded" by the forum. This includes tweets and Instagram posts.

We don't allow screenshots or uploads of content, particularly content that can't be directly linked like Instagram stories. You can still discuss these sorts of social media posts and direct people to the social network, but you must not include the content itself on the site.

We're doing this so the creators of content retain their control. If somebody deletes an Instagram picture or a tweet, those embeds stop working. If it was posted through some other means, the content remains out there against its creator's wishes.

Three Tall Women closed on Broadway tonight.  Laurie Metclaf won a Tony Award for Featured Actress in a Play for her role in this production. Joe Mantello directed this and then  Jim's play, The Boys In The Band.

Jim was at the final performance.

I was hoping this would extend so I could see it in August when I go to see Jim. I always just seem to miss Laurie.

From The Hollywood Reporter

Emmys: TV Academy Unveils 'Big Bang Theory' Nom It Originally Omitted

The Big Bang Theory received a major nomination that was not previously announced when the TV Academy unveiled its nominees this morning, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively report.

"Voting in the Emmy category of Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series resulted in seven nominees," the TV Academy tells THR in a statement. "One of the nominees, The Big Bang Theory's episode 'The Bow Tie Symmetry,' directed by Mark Cendrowski, was inadvertently left off various Television Academy communications platforms during today's nomination activities."

THR inquired about a missing nomination after it was brought to our attention that a new rule, implemented by the TV Academy after last year's Emmys, required that at least one of this category's nominees hail from a multi-camera show and at least one of this category's nominees hail from a single-camera show. The six nominees announced on Thursday morning all hailed from single-camera shows.

They have the title of the episode wrong... It should be "The Bow Tie Asymmetry," not "Symmetry."

Nice article on Eric Kaplan, along with some BTS on how a week goes.

Thanks for sharing this article! However, it left me wondering about the whole "Sheldon gets a dog" story... It was probably just a random example he came up with, but could this be a potential one-and-done episode for season 12?

I think it shows the way they usually think about episodes... "Sheldon does X". Then the othet characters have to do something.

I think you hit on the Freudian slip in the interview that explains what we all have been thinking, they are writing show around Sheldon and everyone else is just a support character now.

I don't even think it's a slip, I don't think Kaplan thinks there's a problem with that.
