Beatles fans are getting a little something special on Sirius/XM's The Beatles Channel through Thursday (Feb. 7), courtesy of a group of primetime TV Beatlemaniacs.

“Big Bang Beatles” will feature four cast members from CBS' long-running smash sitcom The Big Bang Theory – Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Mayim Bialik (Amy, his wife), Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz, who has a Beatlish haircut on the show) and Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) -- along with the show's creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre. My wife is counting down the days until TBBT ends.  Me this morning:  "Hey Regina King won Best Supporting Actress last night!  You know, she's Mrs. King, the HR lady on TBBT!".  Also:  "Now Lady GaGa has something in common with Keith Carradine, you know, Penny's father Wyatt on TBBT.  They both have Best Original Song Oscars!!!".  My wife does as good a job rolling her eyes as Penny does!

Ouch! This can also be pretty dangerous. You'd better shut your ears. 🙂

THE BIG BANG THEORY UCLA SCHOLARSHIP 2019

TO COMMEMORATE THE FINAL SEASON OF THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE CHUCK LORRE FAMILY FOUNDATION AND PARTNERS DOUBLE THEIR SUPPORT OF THE BIG BANG THEORY SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT AT UCLA AND ESTABLISH NEW GRADUATE SCHOOL GRANT PROGRAM EXCLUSIVELY FOR TBBT/UCLA SCHOLARS

Show’s Cast and Crew Celebrate Inaugural Class of TBBT Scholars as They Graduate With Gifts from Dell Technologies of New Alienware m15 Laptops

After creating the first-ever university scholarship endowment — The Big Bang Theory Scholarship Endowment at UCLA — named after a television series four years ago, The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation (TCLFF) announced today that in honor of the show’s final season, it has doubled down on its support of The Big Bang Theory endowment for undergraduate scholars in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Established in 2015, the Endowment initially provided for five annual scholarships, in perpetuity, for students in financial need. It was originally funded via a founding donation by TCLFF combined with gifts from more than 50 individuals associated with the series — including the show’s stars, executive producers, writers and crew — plus partners such as Warner Bros. Television, CBS, ICM Partners, United Talent Agency and more. With renewed donations to celebrate the end of the series, more than 80 individuals have made contributions to date, allowing for The Big Bang Theory scholarship to now fund 10 scholars each year in perpetuity. The Endowment currently supports 35 TBBT scholars and has raised more than $5.5 million for UCLA students in financial need studying in STEM fields.

Dell Technologies, a longtime supporter of advancing science and technology skills, has also made a donation to the undergraduate Endowment and will be gifting the first graduating class of TBBT/UCLA scholars with new Alienware m15 laptops at a special celebration on The Big Bang Theory set with the producers, cast and crew.

Additionally, TCLFF has announced the establishment of The Big Bang Theory Graduate School Fund. This fund will provide four-year scholarships of up to $15,000 per year exclusively for graduating TBBT/UCLA scholars who will be continuing their STEM education in graduate school within the University of California system. TBBT/UCLA graduating scholars who will be pursuing their graduate studies outside of the UC system will be eligible for a one-time grant of $15,000.

From The UCLA Newsroom

Bazinga!: ‘The Big Bang Theory’ to support twice as many UCLA students

“Wait, should it be, ‘Dear cast and crew,’ then?” asked one student.

“Yeah, that’s what I write,” his seatmate chimed in.

They were on a bus of UCLA students buzzing with excitement after a return visit to the set of the hit TV show, “The Big Bang Theory,” all settling in to write thank-you notes to the more than 80 people associated with the hit sitcom who fund UCLA’s Big Bang Theory Scholarship Endowment. Many of them noted that without the scholarship, they would instead owe thousands of dollars in student loans, and at least one student would not have been able to attend UCLA at all without the scholarship.

They are among the 35 students who have received scholarships from the endowment. When created in 2015, 20 UCLA students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering or mathematics were selected. In each subsequent year, five additional low-income UCLA students who are pursuing degrees in the STEM fields — which are the fields pursued by the characters in the show — were chosen.

Loved CB since she was on “Cybill” playing the best friend Maryanne. She even had a catch phrase “Dr. Dick” said with such amazing venom. (It was her husband from whom she had been recently divorced). We still use that phrase at our house. Christine is amazing! Look how much we hate Beverly!!!

SC: On stage, on screen, there’s not a wasted movement with you.
CB: "Not a wasted movement?!" Okay.
