Article about Forbes 2015 list of highest earning celebrities

Big Bang? Big Bucks!

With earnings of $29 million and $28.5 million, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting have, respectively, cracked the ranks of FORBES Celebrity 100, our annual list of highest-earning celebrities. It’s their first time on the list, and it’s all thanks to the salaries they earn for their portrayals of Sheldon Cooper and Penny on Big Bang.

yeah i read it. i guess... good for them. But why Johnny isn't there too? didn't the three of them get the $1M per episode contract????

You had to have earned at least $28.5 million to make the list.  Both Jim and Kaley had additional income from other projects, which bumped their salaries up to that level.

Andy, In 2014-2015, Jim had his film work (Home, Buddy's Musical Christmas, The Normal Heart, Wish You Were Here).  Kaley had her Priceline commercials, and five other film projects.  Johnny only had two projects in 2015 and none in 2014, which should explain why he wasn't on the list, although he probably wasn't too far behind the 28.5 million.

‘Mom’ / ‘The Big Bang Theory’/‘Mike & Molly’/‘Two & a Half Men’ (CBS)

Proudest moment: “This season we were faced with the loss of our dear cast member, Carol Ann Susi, who played Mrs. Wolowitz (on ‘Big Bang’),” Molaro says. “I’m proud of how we handled the death of the character and how the writers and actors hopefully managed to pay tribute to the woman who played her at the same time.”

Best note: “‘Dig deeper’ by Chuck Lorre,” says Higgins. “It made us go back and see if there was an emotional level we overlooked in the script.”
