I count them as kisses too. However, I don't see them as being kisses of 'desire', for lack of a better term. I think the first time, Amy was drunk and curious. The second time it was out of pure joy. I don't see a sexual component to them.

That being said, I would like to see them have a 'real' kiss, that is romantic and mutually desired...if that makes sense.

I agree about that it's not necessary the break up situation. The possibility of losing amy it's more about "something that makes sheldon think, i need to step it up" like MJIstheBOMB wrote. Maybe it could be sheldon getting jealous of amy's co-worker or something like that.

Bwt i don't know why but i feel this season we are going to see a shamy kiss. Fingers crossed

How could that be possible?? I mean even if Leonard wasn't watching Amy definitely did. For me that scene proves that Penny and Sheldon are so close friends and JUST friends that Amy and Leonard are absolutely fine with them interacting.

I agree. The S4 kiss definitely counts. I mean, they were both engaged in the kiss. He definitely kissed her back. There wasn't tongue or anything, but it still counts! And the S5 kiss is not something I automatically think about because it was so short and clumsy, haha. But I love how he just accepts it, lol. It was such a cute scene, both of them, even if Amy was drunk in the first one.

 

I can kinda see what that person meant, though, because the following morning, they agreed to restore their relationship back to a point where it worked, basically "erasing" the kiss and pretending it never happened. Which is kind of disappointing. At least they didn't "erase" the S5 kiss, although Sheldon didn't kiss her back. What we need now is a SIK that both of them want without feeling the need to "restore" their relationship. :D

I explained myself poorly. Sure I count them. But my definition of kissing is a bit more complex. A "real" kiss is the physical act initiated by a pure love motion and from BOTH parties. In the first one, Amy was drunk and I don't think she was completely aware of what kind of relationship they were in. My hypothesis is that she was in the transition between friendship and love. Maybe she did it like an experiment, who knows ? The second kiss was mostly there because she was overwhelmed and excited. That was sweet but I expect much more with a real kiss. I want them both aware of the moment. I want them kissing not because they are intoxicated or overhelmed but because they are feeling the love and the need to do it in the right moment. Their relationship is a lot deeper now than in S4 and S5 and it´s seems to be the appropriate time to upgrade it, now that they both know what they want. My definition of "real" kiss is a romantic kiss indeed (not necessarily passionate though, a peck can be very romantic too). No need to say that it´s much more powerful than a regular kiss.

Of course they also won't read the Game of Thrones books and don't realize all the spoilers I am giving them are lies. LIES! <<evil laugh>>

 

I am also really excited for the jewelry making in episode 7, because I love crafts. And also Sheldon following Amy around the apartment trying to annoy her until she calls him annoying. That supports my Sheldon is a pussy cat Hypothesis.

I almost passed out at the D&D coitus! It was after that episode that I came online and saw there were all these taping reports. And I've been a spoiled Shamy Shipper ever since. :]

I love crafts too. In fact, in season 3 when Sheldon and Amy were making Penny Blossoms. LOVE IT. That's what I do myself, make hair accessories. One thing I really love about this season is Raj as BBT cruise director.

 

He's the event planner, romance coordinator, ladies craft circle instructor... Raj does not need a woman! He just needs to find enough Neil Diamond tickets! Raj plans all group activities from now on.

 

Also, Penny Blossoms predate Amy. (I have to believe that Bernadette and Amy could have kicked that production up a notch. Amy could have brought monkeys, Bernadette, deathrow inmates with nothing to lose...)

They never really had a kiss. Amy gave him two small pecks. The whole deal now is to have one real kiss. And if not Sheldon initiated, at least a mutal one. I'm so dying for this.

I disagree the drunken Amy kiss was a good one AND Sheldon returned that kiss. (rating 4.5) Not bad for a rookie, no nose damage, no eyes poked and good effort.

 

I always imagine that because that scene was pre-taped that the director/crew was like "TAKE 20 - Jim don't kiss her back this time.  Sheldon is not supposed to pucker.  He's surprised, he doesn't know what to do. So just sit there and let her kiss you." **wait*pucker***smooch*** "sorry, guys" ****Sigh*** "TAKE 21..."

 

The tiara kiss was messy and just not good. Her take off did not hit the bulls-eye correctly even with Sheldon's/Jim's assistance of hunching and bending his knees.  After seeing Mayim's hops in the Karaoke scene with Howard, we seriously should have seen better. I hope she trains for the next one unless she plans to climb that tree. (rating 3.0 more for emotional exuberance not style points)

 

Even if Sheldon's rookie effort is not style worthy we are gonna stick him back in the game until he gets it right.
