Really curious about Wheaton's role. He turned into a really good person, so I doubt there will be any Wheaton/Amy turbulence.

Did he turn into a good person or did he just get bored of making Sheldon twitch with rage? I don't think he'll cross Sheldon, but Wheaton is not good. He broke up Penny and Leonard to win a bowling.

And thank God! EvilWheaton is such a delicious character construct. He is like Loki from Thor. He might not be causing trouble that you know about, but he's always capable.

Wheaton and Kripke going head to head would be good, joining forces would be a nightmare for Sheldon...

More than likely, they'll just talk about him behind his back, "it's just easier to stay on his good side."... "Coower's a lot mowe welaxed since he starwed getting poontang on a wegular basis."... "Wow, you are disgusting. I am going to sit by myself." ..."Whatewer Wesley."

i'm really anxious about tonights taping for some reason...

It's Wil Wheaton. To quote Dr. Banner from the Avengers, "His brain is a bag full of cats." We have no idea what he'll do.

Wil could be harmless or he could strand the boys in Tijuana without their shoes, cell phones and wallets...

And Kripke's there too. This could be the f--king apocalypse. but its BBT, the apocalypse will only last 21 minutes.

I don't think he's really a bad guy in general, at least not toward the gang, anymore.

I think he found it amusing that Sheldon had held a grudge against him all these years, and he saw an opportunity to take advantage of it in the card tournament, but when they first met for the bowling match, he was amused, but kind of surprised that Sheldon was still mad about the card game.

And then, yeah, he did a terrible thing in planting such seeds of doubt in Penny's mind.  I don't know that he meant to actually break them up, but he did intend to mess with her head, make her upset, whatever, so that she wouldn't be on her game.  That she took his comments to mean that she should break up with Leonard is kind of on her.

However, that doesn't mean that WW was sorry it happened...

Then in the 21-Second Excitation, he was still happy to irritate SHeldon, because SHeldon was already irritated with him, still holding onto the grudge.  But by the time of his next appearance (Friendship Contraction?), when he invited the guys to his party, he wasn't trying to be mean or trying to irritate Sheldon.  He was not holding on to any kind of need to aggravate Sheldon and just wanted to be nice.

But I don't think it meant that he wanted to be best friends or anything.  I think he just felt a little bad about it all.

Anyway, in the FWF incident, he was sitll happy to hang out with Sheldon, it was Amy's rudeness that got his back up.  And when Drunk!SHeldon went over to demand an apology, he apologized quickly and easily.

I think that WIl doesn't mind being pals with the guys, like going to Howard's stag party, but he's not a loyal member of the gang or anything, so he's a little bit of a wild card--his behavior could go either way.

He could maybe even do something nice for the guys for a change--invite them to meet one of their idols or something like that (though there's no evidence of any other guest stars, like Brent Spiner or LeVar Burton, etc.), or he could some how scrape up against Amy once again (though I doubt they'd necessarily repeat that joke, since they've already done it) or it could be something completely different.

With JWB/Kripke in the mix, there's no telling! :)

Random. But a fitting shamy song I think because of their hugs...which I hope happens soon.

Only four lines:

Wrap your soft arms around me, and never let me go

Just enough that I can breathe, you know just how much I need.

I have a bunch of favorite Shamy songs (Hey, Soul Sister is probably my favorite), including some Beatles songs that are on my iPod these days.  I used to post Shamy song lyrics of the day, but I think I might have run through them all for now.

"I've Just Seen a Face"

"I Should Have Known Better"

"I'm Happy Just to Dance With You"

I think they'd all make for great Shamy videos if only I had the software/skills...

I know fan vids have been done for this song but my personal favorite (and I think most relatable) is 'The Only Exception' by Paramore. That song was meant for Shamy :)

....And now I must go listen to it.

Isn't that a slow song?  I think I've watched that video.

For some reason I don't like slow, mushy, sappy songs for the Shamy--I've seen a few like that.

I like the up-tempo ones for them--Soul Sister, Accidentally In Love, and there's another one out there that I can't remember just now, it's by someone like Neil Diamond (!), though I don't know that it's him...  I think there's a line in there about how girls used to "slip through my fingers like water"...

Anyway, I don't know if it's because of how they are, but I can't equate slow love songs with the two of them. :p

Phanta, we only know that when Amy got the project at Cal-Tech, she said it would be for several months.   I assumed that meant that they planned to show her there more than once.   I could be mistaken.

I suppose that's true--however, just because Kripke is in the episode doesn't mean it necessarily takes place at CalTech...

Kripke might end up with the gang in some other setting--some kind of party or game or something at the guys' apartment, something at the comic book store, another Wheaton party, etc.

I think it almost makes more sense for Kripke to be away from CalTech than for Wheaton to be at CalTech.

And could it be possible that Wheaton and Kripke aren't actually in any scenes together?

My head is spinning a little with the possible variations... :p

It´s already big that we have these two reunited in one episode !! With or without Shamy, I'll be satisfied.

However, my brain keeps buzzing for the perspective of a possible Shamy (SIK?!) scenario. We all know that ep 10 has always been special for Pasadena's favorite power couple. We'll see if It's true or just an happy coincidence. I must keep my expectations low, I know ...

Anyway, welcome back Bawwy Kwipke whooooohooooo :D

I was just saying she was still likely working there.  I have no idea of Kripke is indeed there or not.  He has not said anything of the sort.   I know there was some discussion that sounded and appeared like he may be in the episode, but I honestly have not seen anything to confirm that at this point so don't know if he will be.  I also have no preconceptions about this being a Shamy episode period.  I have no idea what it will be about.     Anything is possible at this point.  I am just waiting until tonight when Moyra gives us a quick summary and then we will know.

I think the Amy at Caltech thing is probably going to be revisited in the future or they wouldn't have had her say she was going to be working there for months. That was just last month and we know the show is more or less in real time. However, I'm keeping my expectations for this episode very low, given the writers on it. I doubt there will be any major Shamy movement. I hope there will be Shamy though, I'd be disappointed otherwise because I really like the x10 Shamy tradition, it would be sad to break the trend.

OK..John Ross has confirmed that he is in this episode.  He just tweeted that he was reporting for duty (in Kripke speak) and showed a picture of Studio 25 where they film TBBT.   So we can now be confident he will be in the episode at the taping tonight.   :girlwink:

Do we know if Mayim is going to be there for this episode? I have this bad feeling that she won't even be taping for today's episode. Anyways with 2 Sheldon-specific guest-stars, I have a hard time seeing a Shamy storyline in tonight's taping. I think this taping might break the shamy at every 10th episode of the season tradition. :(
