Waiting for Shamy big moments is like watching a grain of sand fall to the bottom of the hourglass where we recount wgat we've seen so far and realize we still have half an hour of sand left to go. So we settle into our seats to watch more sand fall hoping this is it. This is SIK. etc.

haha. idk why i wrote this. This was on my mind the whole day, especially once we started putting a timeline for when we thought things would happen. Don't know if an hourglass is a good metaphor.for Shamy tho. Hmm.

I do like the subtle way the writers are showing how much time Sheldon and Amy are spending together. They seem to be together all the time now.

I noticed that it is pretty much as if Lenny were living together at 4B and Shamy at 4A, this season. With the only difference being that Lenny actually eat food whereas Shamy seem to live on tea alone. Maybe they're on a diet.

But what I also wondered about that scene,things like:

 

Does Amy own that outfit, or did she borrow/rent it somewhere?

Did Amy dress up that at home? Or did she change into it in Sheldons appartment?

I also love the fact that Amy always makes the tea in his apartment, she makes herself right at home :D

I loved this moment in the Proton Displacement.

I bet she bought it. Amy is practical, and one can never know when one might need a Star Trek uniform to get Sheldon's attention.

 

I also bet she showed up at the apartment dressed just that way. All the better to shock Sheldon to make him more amenable to letting her do what she wanted.

 

As for me, I am still stuck wondering: Doctors' exams regularly involve quite a bit of touching and palpatating. I wonder how much Shelly let her get away with?

 

UGH. If I don't stop all this wondering, I am going to end up having to write a one-shot.

You know which part was my fav in Proton? The beginning where Sheldon is smiling non-stop and even smiles down at Amy when she mentions that she and Proton have the same shoes and dresses like a celeb. I can rewind that a million times and never get tired of seeing it. ♥♡♥♡

I enjoy the part where he introduces Amy as his girlfriend more He seems so secure at this point.

You have tummy ache, the doctor will examine your stomach using the flat of his/her hands

I agree, the whole opening of Proton is tons of adorableness. He is so smitten and proud to show her off, and I love how Leonard often has this really awkward grin on his face while he watches them like "Omg, you guys get a grip."

 

As for the ST doctor, I think that was the whole point of playing Star Trek doctor: there's no touching, she'd be using the tricorder to scan his vital signs etc. But, in true Shamy style, that still serves the same purpose as the rest of the world playing naughty 'physical' doctor: it makes it hot for him, especially with that outfit. I think it was hands down one of the cleverest Shamy scene they ever came up with. Even better than D&D sex, in my opinion, because you can tell that Sheldon is reeeeally enjoying it.
