There's no mention of Leonard's trip or the scientific impact. Typical! He goes away with Stephen Hawking and then nothing! Another missed opportunity to give Leonard a great science scene for once. But as they used Howard's trip to the spacestation as a wife vs mother argument why am I surprised?

Thought this was the better of the two episodes. Could tell Penny really missed him. Thought it was funny though Leonard hiding at Penny's wasn't just tosee her but to avoid Sheldon LOL. The funniest thing of the two episodes was Raj/Howard grabbing each others boobs. Couldnt stop laughing. Enjoyed Amy when she pretended she liked the sailor hat just to shut him up. Also liked when she took Penny's side when Sheldon was mad at Penny. It was also fun seeing them all together at the end of the episode.

I think your expecting too much, the episode shoulden't have anything to do with Leonard's science acheivements, besides in 7.02 they talked about in the university, Howard was talking about Leonard's finding's can have an impact on science, maybe you missed that scene. I think the writers and Leonard were more concerned about his relationship with Penny, and how much they missed each other. So apart from that one mention by Howard, it diddn't bother me one bit, but depends on you interpreted it I suspose.

Both episodes were sooo awesome. I really liked the first one, but defintiley the second episode was highlarious! I did feel like the Sheldon/Leonard storyline was a little lacking, but Howard and Raj were perfect. When they felt up each others man boobs I nearly died laughing and Bernadette's reaction was priceless!

NOOOOOOOO! LEONARD'S HAIR HASN'T CHANGED! GRAHHHH! 

 

 

... So yeah, anyway. 

 

Howard being all moody and emotional was hilarious, and I'm still unhappy about Leonard's hair. 

 

Oh - and eavesdropping Shamy is quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. Ever. So adorable, I love them in these first two episodes. And I love how their quirkiness seems to be back, I mean, Amy suddenly realizing Penny is cheating because of the takeout boxes! 

 

And Sheldon going out just to knock, haha! 

 

Though I really do understand why Sheldon was upset with Leonard. 

 

Howard and Raj... I can't even. Just when I thought the robot frenching couldn't be beat. 

 

 

Edited to add: Howard's speech in the cafeteria was pure gold, I started wheezing. I officially love estrogen crazed Wolowitz.

Of the two episodes this was my favorite.  Love Leonard surprising Penny even though they only got what seem like a few minutes together.   Wish we could have had more of their reunion where Leonard and Penny actually talked about his trip and Penny talked about what happen on the home front.

 

Sheldon needs to understand that Leonard has the right to spend his time with whomever he want and since Penny is Leonard girlfriend, Sheldon needs to back off.  Sheldon worked my last good nerve in this episode being so selfish and only thinking about himself once again.

 

Poor Howard --- he had me cracking up and poor Bernie walking in on Howard/Raj hands on each other breasts and the look on her face was priceless.

Although I knew Howard was on estrogen it was really touching what he said but funny at the same time, Simon deserves an Emmy for that scene, heck he deserves an Emmy fullstop. As for Sheldon yeah he is annoying and irritating, and you want to strangle him sometimes, but you can't help but love the guy, it all comes from a good place I just remember that when I want to strangle him.
