I think the writers have run the danger of making it appear that she doesn't enjoy Sheldon, but she clearly does enjoy him.  She adores him.   However, Shamy used to have fun in the first two seasons.   Since Molaro took over helm, he has turned them much more dramatic.  I personally wish he would bring back more of the "fun" version that played made-up games, went to the zoo, did their Fun with Flags show, etc.   I think they need to inject more of that kind of fun (not the adolescent flirting kind he is doing now) into the couple.   I liked that in the second episode of the season Amy was making up a new language and teaching it to Sheldon.   But sadly they had him distracted by thinking Penny was cheating on Leonard.   They need to get back to where both of them are "in it" having fun together again.

Regardless, I do think Amy still enjoys Sheldon. I think she finds him interesting, fascinating and loves being with him, even if she does have to guide him through social protocol now and again.

She is the only person he will actually listen to. He kind of needs her. The Fun With Flags was one place where she actually was not helping. At least not once they invited other guests. The stories are varied. I think the writers are doing fine.

The show may be a comedy but the same old crap of an insecure Leonard, or some type of sex joke from Amy, or a dumbed down Penny is the writers fall back plan when they have nothing else.

We are in the seventh year of the show most of this crap that is happening to the characters should only be seen in someone's rearview mirror.

eta: I should say it the writers fall back plan when they are stalling things! We all know how they love to stall things.

I don't know. Mark Harmon is in his sixties. I'm not even sure that was a sex joke by Amy. Penny not knowing the name of the show is not that big a deal. I don't think anyone is forcing you to watch the show.

What? You haven't heard how attractive women find more mature men? Or so I've been led to believe.

I heard of it and when I look at him and can't see what they see. He isn't only one where a large segment thinks is good looking or hot and I don't get it. (Pitt and Clooney are just two)

I'm sorry I offended you but I'm guessing that clip isn't what we will be talking about Thursday night.

That's what makes it funny to me.

Amy is Sheldon's girlfriend, not his doormat.  Being a girlfriend or a boyfriend does not mean that you have to agree with everything that they say or do.   A good girlfriend does point out when you are being a big jerk.   As with everything, in moderation.

The Bernadette character was the best thing that ever happened to the Howard character.   Before Bernadette Howard was a sleazy and disgusting pervert.   Besides, she's funny as all get out.

And funny - not so any more I'm afraid

I expect I will see this episode on the 2nd :)

The way my schedule is after the 6th of January I won't see any more new episodes before they are shown in reruns. :(

Problem solved. Upgraded to a HD cable box and this includes some free video on demand. Looks like I can now watch most recent TBBT episode when I get around to it. Nice :)

Yes, the writer's are clearly inept and devoid of ideas.  What a bunch of hacks.  Unfortunately,   since the show they write for is the number ONE comedy on TV and has been for seven seasons, they probably think that they are doing a great job and take little heed of people who complain on forums.(sarcasm)  I think that those who constantly complain about how terrible the show has become should teach them a lesson and stop watching the show.  Frankly why they continue to watch the show is beyond me.  Perhaps they also enjoy having people inflict pain on them.

Well, "they" did ask what we want to see happening this year yesterday on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheBigBangTheory .

They can still disregard it, and most likely it's not even read by the writers etc. but still.

If they do read it and if they take the comments into account then probably Penny will get a PhD during 2014!!!!! LOL!!!!!!! Seriously, not having read all the comments, I read at least three of them wanting Penny to get a PhD or write something on Sheldon's board and accidentaly make a monumental discovery that will lead them to share the Nobel Prize. And then a bunch of people were like ''yes that must happen''!!!!!

Don't worry, there are many (!) crazy people on Facebook. They won't read it anyway. This site seems more like an advertisement site.
