What Would You Do If You Met One Of The Cast Members?

Recommended Posts

Depends.

If they were out in public, I'd leave them the hell alone.

At a function, it'd depend on the topic being discussed, but I'd probably tell them how much I enjoyed the show and their performance, though I wouldn't seek them out to do so.

It's never a good idea to meet your heros, not ever!

I think I would just Hi ! (with a big smile)
And if it happen while an event, maybe I'll try to talk a little more with him/her :)

After being silent and star struck for a long while, I'd probably just let them know that I appreciate all the good moments they've given me throughout the series, and how much I admire them for their skill and dedication to their craft.

It depends on how I meet them.

If they were eating somewhere, I would just probably smile if they looked over at me, but let them alone and let the have their peace.

If they were walking along somewhere public, same.  Just smile and let them get to where they are supposed to be going.

If they were somewhere where they knew people I knew, I would be glad to meet them and probably just have a normal conversation with them, maybe ask them specific things about their interests that I may know about, but other than that, probably not do much.

I have done consulting in the business in past years and have had the opportunity to meet many celebrities.  Honestly, most are not that impressive when you meet them.  They are used to putting on a "personna" face to the public, but when you get to talk to them, some are bright and interesting and many are self-absorbed and only care about fashion, their looks and who is looking at them kind of thing.  So it depends on the circumstance, how I would act, but to me I don't get star struck.  I mainly see them as just more people to meet and try to strike up a conversation with knowing they could care less most of the time who I am or anything about me.    Its like attending a party where you know the host but not many of their guests and know you will never see those guests again kind of thing.   You do what you need to do to get through the awkward moments and then move on.   Some are definitely interesting to talk to though.

Ran out of likes, lol.

I'd do the same things as you, but I would also ask them very nicely if they minded if I had my picture taken with them.  I've yet to be turned down when I've done this.

I'd also make sure to address them by their last name unless they tell me otherwise.  And I'd probably be shaking the entire time from nerves/excitement.

To be more specific:

Kaley - I'd ask her about her horse, how long she's been riding, how she got interested, etc.

Johnny, Jim and Kunal - theatre

Mayim - kids and Judiasm

Melissa - joke about being short (I'm an inch shorter than she is)

Simon - music

I'm too shy. I think I would just smile and be happy I saw them. Let them carry on.

I know this because I've clammed up around only semi-famous people, like professional athletes and the governor of my state. HA.

I think it really depends on which one of the cast it is.

If it where Kaley, Jim or Mayim I would be very nervous, since I really like them a lot.

If one of the others, I would not have much problems talking to them.

But I agree, if they were just out for dinner or something else "private" I would leave them alone.

But when "in function" I would talk to them.

I wouldn't interrupt them if they were eating out somewhere or if didn't seem appropriate to approach them, otherwise it would be nice to say hi and how much I've enjoyed the show over the years. At the end of the day they're just people the same as us.
