I'm waiting for taping dates to be announced so I can book a plane ticket back. :)

I'm sure Bill Prady will be on the lookout for chocolate from you this time.

I do remember that. I was so happy to be able to experience that excitement with everyone. If you go back and look at the old posts, there are so many gifs to express emotion and they are all amazing. Imagine what the coitus taping will do. :wild:

Dear lord!  :girldance::girlsigh::swoon:

Reading fanfics and wondering what the writers will do to us next season.

Personally, May was hell - my 18 year old cat died, I never really realized how ingrained he was in my life and miss him very much.  When I was reeling from that, my aunt died and had to fly to Wash. DC for her service.  I was devastating.   :(

I need June to be GREAT.

I have a countdown clock on my computer to the estimated debut of season 8.  lol

So sorry about your cat and your aunt.  Some people don't understand how losing a pet can be the same as losing other family members, but it's definitely a big loss in both cases.

I lost two elderly cats that I'd had for years--I had two littermates, Hotspur and Cyrano.  Hotspur died when he was about 13.5 years old and Cyrano when he was 18.  I was absolutely heartbroken both times.

Fortunately, by the time Cyrano passed away, I had added a new kitty to my home--Puck--who was just a year old when Cyrano died.  Now Puck is 7 years old and I also have Snug, who is 3.

I hope the summer turns out to be great for you!

Up until Monday I had a recital to keep my thoughts occupied.  My 3 bassoon students played in a recital--and the 4 of us also played a couple of quartets at the end.  So I was preoccupied and busy with that for the last couple of weeks.

Lately I've been reading through Roxanne's old taping reports and the old FF Spoiler Board threads in which they were posted.  It's kind of amazing to see the sturm und drang that went on from S3--S5, though it's not much different than the hair-pulling and breast beating that still goes on when a taping report is posted. :p

With the perspective of S7, it's so strange to look back and see people imagining that L/P might get married in S5 or that H/B might have kids soon, and of course, those who thought that Sheldon and Amy shouldn't be a couple, or that the show was becoming just like Friends or TAAHM or whatever (sound familiar?!)  And of course, the Shenny crowd.

It's fascinating. ;)

Would love to go to the taping although i am like 8000 miles away in INDIA, I GUESS i should plan a trip to US around the time of the taping, as for me coping with the hiatus, its marathon TBBT every weekend since i work like 11 hrs a day. But my day is incomplete without reading the awesome posts from u guys! And also i stumbled upon the taping reports just recently , i wish i could have been a part of it sooner. Never the less , thanks guys for keeping each other company thru these tuff times without TBBT :p .. - Love Shweta!

I've been coping with the hiatus by trying to keep my mind off that damn cliffhanger.  To that end, I haven't been watching much TBBT; instead I've been watching old episodes of Murphy Brown, and my summer show "Perception" starts back next week.  I'm staying pretty busy work-wise too.

Ill kick off by asking, How is everyone coping and getting through the hiatus so far?

Fairly easy for me, I'm now distracted by Doctor Who returning in August, which is distracting me from

the Big Bang Theory hiatus. Plus I have a new printer (my wallet is still crying over the whack it took) so I'm

getting my selling prints online business up and running. Will hopefully have that done before

they start shooting new episodes of the show.

Perception is a great show.  We watch that along with Rizzoli and Isles.

I'm spending the hiatus:

-trying my hand at writing TBBT fan fiction

-looking for a better paying job (ha, ha)

-decluttering/organizing my house (ha, ha, ha)

-getting two new kittens so our single cat has some friends (we lost his brother three months ago)

Actor Harrison Ford was injured on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII Millennium Falcon on Thursday afternoon, when the door of the Milennium Falcon fell on him, crushing his ankle. The actor was airlifted to a hospital in England.
