They didn't write the teleplay, but if Sheldon and Amy do speak, it won't suck! And both Tara and Maria are both good at writing for Amy as an independent character so I have high hopes we won't be subjected to Stepford Amy.

I am a little worried from Aussiello's comment that Sheldon hasn't gotten off the train all summer. That just sounds bat shit crazy. How did he get fresh clothes? Toiletries? Fiber in his diet?

Sheldon having gone insane this summer was not something I'd considered.

Actually I read Aussiello's comment as him hinting that Sheldon did stop somewhere on the way; and not just for necesseties, but actually crashed somewhere for a couple days or more. Or he may have stopped many places.

To quote Lio, "Who the f cares about Stuart!!!". LOL! No offense, I love me some Stuart and I love me some Kevin here and there, but seriously there's enough characters on this show already without needing to give him more screen time. I'd like to see more of Howard and Amy and possibly Amy and Emily before seeing Amy and Stuart... We have seen Amy and Stuart already anyway, been there, done that...

Well, if Amy's first scenes are with Stuart and Sheldon, things could get interesting - Sheldon might have to give Stuart another dollar for some sour patch kids :mosking:

So we know Stuart is in the premiere then.... Hmmmm lol

Well they did say at the Comic Con panel that when we left Stuart, he was living with Debbie and when we return in the season premiere, he's still there, so we could have guessed that. x D

Before I knew that Stuart was going to be living with Mrs. Wolowitz, I had this vision of him being homeless after the comic book store burned down and needing to move in with Amy. And Sheldon coming back from his trip and coming straight to Amy and Stuarts there and it's all awk... LOL. Actually, my first vision included Stuart making a move on Amy, and Amy about to reject him when Sheldon shows up at the door.

In a few odd little coincidences, I have recently bumped up against the TS Eliot poem, "The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock", and reading about it led me to the Rudyard Kipling poem, "The Love Song of Har Dyal", which got me thinking.

I present to you:

The Love Song of Sheldon Lee Cooper by phantagrae

Alone upon the platform late at night

I look along the gleaming, singing rails

I wish that you were with me in the night

You know I love you, though I cannot say

Before me lies the freedom of the road

Extending far beyond the world I know

But you are not beside me on the road

You know I love you, though I cannot say

My life was cold and empty before you

My heart was closed to thoughts and words of love

My heart will break if I cannot have you

You know I love you, though I cannot say
