When she had the car accident at the begining of Season 6, her husband (now her ex) twitted in her name about it and she never missed an episode because of her wounds. However, if it was planned I think she would have just said she was going off-grid and not give a time when she would be back. As it was she said she would be off from Thursday to Saturday. I wasn't expecting anything on Sunday, but thought Monday she would be back. Also, at the beginning of Passover she said she was going off-grid for a period of time, but was back on earlier then what she had said and was posting. It's now been almost a week since she posted anything and for someone who is as prolific as she is on Twitter, IG and Facebook it's very strange. He normally just does a lot of likes rather then posting and it's usually at some ridiculous time in the morning in LA when he does. Mayim also does a lot of likes, but there hasn't even been that.Anyway, as much I would like some Shamy interaction in the finale, I don't think we're going to get it. She never posts anything any more spoilerish than anyone else and no one would punish her for that by not putting her in episodes. It's not grade school over there. Her not having computer/phone access could be a possibility in some way, but even if that were true, surely someone else in the cast could post a set selfie with her or whatever. I was wondering if it had to do with her home undergoing renovations--didn't someone say that? That she's just too worn out or frazzled or whatever to bother posting on IG or twitter. If she's got real life stuff going on that's complicating her life, she may have simply chosen to take some time off of social media to have some down time with her kids. And really, she would need any kind of external issues to want to do that. For celebrities, social media can be a hassle. I agree with phantagrae Maybe she just taking a break for awhile after she went off the grid and realize how much time she had. She could be dealing with her home renovations as someone said. We will probably never know unless she tells us. Mayim has always been a private person which I think is good. she doesn't owe us a explanation unless she decides too. The last she posted about the show is a magazine interview about the Fortification episode, when she took her children to set to see the fort (among other things about TBBT and her plans for the hiatus) She is quite fond of the show and SHAMY.
