You know what, I'm not worried about something bad happening to Shamy; it just can't all go to hell out of nowhere in the last episode of the season. But there's the possibility Amy won't be there in the scene. We don't know if Mayim has gone back to work and if not, she would have only Monday to reharse her part with the rest of the cast. Would it be enough for her to be in the episode? I don't know, I'm just putting it out there. I don't know how things work in this kind of situations.

Not sure if good news or not for Shamy, but with the lack of Amy in the 3 episodes before this one I'm leading towards bad news.  They haven't had a break up so maybe it's time for one.

They pre-tape Monday, so if she hasn't gone back and it doesn't look like she has, there wouldn't much time to rehearse. There's also the missing cold open from this week’s taping. If she’s supposed to be in that and it’s going to be pre-taped then they would be doing that on Monday, which would be even less time to rehearse.

 

 

BTW I also felt pessimistic about The Intimacy Acceleration but didn’t say anything, so wasn’t at all surprised when it turned out the way it did.

Again Mayim is contracted to be in every single episode even if one scene. 

We don't know if Maim back yet. but it likely. This is the season Finale so I think she will be there and the storyline mentions her name.

I repeat: WHY A SHAMY BREAK UP????

The whole 8 season has been good for them, with big and nice steps !

Good grief, all the negativity.   Realize that this has been building to something good all season.  We have had nothing but positive steps forward so to break up suddenly would be ridiculous to even consider.   The very last thing they did together was a huge step and both even admitted it was a big step for them and that was her spending a G-rated night over with him.   There has not been a single sign of leading to a breakup.  

 

And for the record, they had a breakup in S4 (25 cats remember).   Not all couples have to have a breakup on the show.  Shamy certainly don't need one...there are plenty of big steps ahead.   

 

As explained, to Sheldon, what may seem minor and small to the average person, is a big thing to him.   For all we know she got to give massage his neck for once....I mean there are loads of possibilities but the main thing is I keep remembering Molaro's comment back during the prom episode where he said they were building toward something and the prom episode was a big step and they would likely have to figure out how to top that.   

 

Enjoy the moment and journey instead of constantly looking for bad.

 

From all indications this is leading to positives and a new direction for Season 9 with the couples...a deeper commitment!

Why do people assume she's not at work?  Just because she hasn't posted a selfie?  Only Kunal has, really--one with Melissa from last week and one today, I think it was.

 

No one else has posted anything from the set, even last week when the two moms were there, they didn't post set selfies.

 

So Mayim might have been there since Wednesday, like normal, and it's just that no one has made a big deal about it.  IF for some reason she's staying off social media, it could be that the others are honoring that by not posting pics of her or whatever.

None of us has any idea.

 

But just because we haven't heard from her doesn't mean that she's not fully involved in the finale, whatever the story might be.

 

The fact that she's only been in single scenes doesn't seem to have anything to do with the Shamy relationship but with some other factor, like her being unavailable for some reason and the writers working around her.  But whatever the reason, I don't see it having to do with whatever happens in the finale.  I think that will be its own story.

Let's not forget the best moments came from drama - first kiss, love spell, I love you...Some drama here and there suits Shamy I think. Let's see what this one will bring us. And I don't think we have to worry writers will  do something similar to last year. They've been there, done that. Now, more happy times are coming  

 

And for Mayim's appearance, we really don't have any information...maybe she  just took some time off the internet. I'm sure if something really serious was happening there would be no place to hide it in these paparazzi days. Now we can just hope we will heard from our favorite neuroscientist soon

I agree!! hmm...I don't know but in my opinion "dramatic changes" sounds like a bad news for shamy.. I think they're breaking up for some reason.. and yes I'm still worried about Mayim/Amy.. the lack of Amy is really strange maybe is a sign or the producers/writers are trying to tell us something...

No, you wouldn't be banned from here. We are a unofficial site. What MT is talking about is that the producers(Steve, Bill, and Chuck) Intended Faisal to be a one line, one mention joke. The name has caught on in the fandom and they have gotten asked about it many times. To the point where they said Faisal is not being brought up again.

Mayim has a contract until I think the end of season 9. Unless she pulls a Charlie Sheen drama BS, she's not going anywhere. Hell, I don't even think she can quit without being sued big time because there's a CONTRACT!!

Not sure if good news or not for Shamy, but with the lack of Amy in the 3 episodes before this one I'm leading towards bad news. They haven't had a break up so maybe it's time for one.

They have, in season 4, remember? And then he got a whole bunch of cats, and they had to call his mom.

They've made it very obvious that they're not going to break up. Let's not be worried prematurely.

This storyline is pregnant with an untold story- and I'm excited to see what happens.

Now I'm not one for jinxing things so the names and places have been changed to not tempt the fates and keep away the bad juju.

I have a work colleague named Ricardo Shillyshally who has a commitment phobic fiancee named Nickelette. She has no last name, kinda like Cher or Madonna. They finally got engaged after years of being on again off again etc. Anyway he has a roommate, Dr. Einstein Von Brainstorm, a brilliant man who has finally realized that he wants to spend the rest of his life with his very long term girlfriend Amelia del Vixen. He wants to propose to Amelia, but needs Nickelette and Ricardo to set a date when they are getting married, so he can propose to Amelia. Coitus will follow around sweeps next year and eventually they get married in May 2017. It is rude to get engaged and married before the friends who have been engaged before you. I hope it all works out for Ricardo, Nickelette, Einstein and Amelia. Though Nickelette won't care to be pinned down for a date.

I just got home from work but I've been reading all the comments on my free time. 

Whatever this is, this is going to be HUGE for Shamy, good or bad.  

 

I don't know what to think; I just find two things that makes me think they're going to break up:

 

1. The story line says Sheldon deals with DRAMAMTIC CHANGES; dramatic tends to mean something bad, something sad, well, it's a drama. Also, Amy having just two short scenes and her lack of lines these past episodes, not to mention she wasn't there when the Mom's episode. This could be also because of Mayim, we don't know for sure what's going on with her. The fact that others on the cast don't post a lot on ig or twitter doesn't mean anything since she usually posts almost everyday, even if it is just what she's eating or her cat. So, this is a little odd. 

 

Now, these are the things that make me think something GOOD is going to happen:

1. This has been a amazing season for Shamy, they have made them grow as persons and as a couple so much that I don't understand why would they want Amy and Sheldon to break up. They're so happy right now, it wouldn't make any sense if they just break up. 

 

2. Remember this girl, Dos Santos (I don't remember her name exactly) that said that one TV couple was going to get ENGAGED on May??? It could be Shamy.

 

3. Also, the story suggests Sheldon pushes Leonard and Penny to have a date for their wedding, why would Sheldon do that if that means that Leonard would have to move out sooner? Sheldon doesn't want that, does he? Unless he has a better reason to get Leonard out of the apartment. I don't think George Lucas or Stepthen Hawking are looking for a roommate to share the rent of an apartment.

 

4.The picture Bill posted on twitter about the season finale; we only get to see the letters: cket, this could mean: pocket, maybe Sheldon asks Amy to move in with him, he gives her the key to the apartment and she puts it on her pocket. Idk this is just an idea. 

 

5. The episode is called: THE COMMITMENT DETERMINATION. It doesn't suggests a break up, it suggests a COMMITMENT. However, if it turns out that Leonard and Penny finally agree on a date for ther wedding, the title is based on their plot. But, if it is about Sheldon, then it means he's going to make a commitment, whether he decides to propose to Amy or ask her to move in with him.

 

 We don't know anything else about the season finale, so, the only thing we can do until the taping report is think and make our own conclusions.

Amy will be in the Mom Episode (Cold open wasn't tape yet)  but will be Brief and again as someone said above Mayim lack of Screen time has nothing to do with shamy but Mayim Personal life.
