phantagrae Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Since they're probably not likely to give any kind of specific answers about what's going to happen next season, it might be more advantageous to sort of come at it a little differently. You could say something like, Some of us felt things were getting a little lopsided [or uneven or whatever] between Sheldon and Amy, like she was having to push or force him all the time and he was always resisting [although we do know that the writers love that snail/turtle metaphor] and that maybe she seemed unhappy with the situation, with Sheldon's reluctance (to move in together, etc.) Will things begin to change more this season? I personally don't see Amy as being unhappy in the relationship, so I'm not sure how to ask about that--is that what they intended? Am I reading too much into it? Something along those lines. Otherwise, I kind of feel like they'll fall back on that whole "glacial pace" thing, or whatever. They may not feel that they've written, or that Mayim has portrayed Sad!Amy, or that they've intended to make her appear to be dissatisfied with her relationship as a whole (as opposed to being disappointed in a specific moment or situation.) I don't know.
