I think it would have not only been really fitting but also really funny to have Amy sitting on the couch together with Penny watching the mothers and the guys. And I'd love to have some fun interactions with Amy and Mary. I found it a bit strange that Mary didn't even ask about Amy and how things are going between them. Well, too bad. Less than one week to go! It was very strange that Mary didn't ask about Amy at all. They didn't film the cold open at the taping and Mayim was not there. So naturally I had a nightmare that night that the producers were scared to show the cold open to the audience because it was so horrendous, it was of Sheldon and Amy breaking up and Mayim leaving the show forever. Girl it was so hard not to tell you about the cold open at dinner because they filmed it at our taping, and then you were like "I have no idea if they're going to have a cold open or if Amy's going to be in the episode," and I was like ".........uh-huh!!!........." Nothing being said about what the show was about or anything but "real life" kinda got in the way of the show but it's all good now (show wise....not real life wise for Mayim losing her dad. I have to admit, it kinda caught me by surprise yesterday, because a break up never really occured to me which is why I didn't even bother to seriously consider such a scenario since this whole "there's a huge Shamy spoiler out there"-thing started. I said it will never happen, but now I just can't stop thinking about it. I know that nothing we saw this season would imply that it's even remotely possible. But still, should we prepare ourselves that what will happen in the finale might not be something good? Honestly, at this point I don't know what's worse. Last year being spoiled or this year knowing nothing. I'm beyond tempted to get at least a hint, but I just don't want to mess up my mind more. If that's even possible... Ugh! I'm being ridiculous and just sleep deprived and I'm going to watch my favourite Shamy moments of this season (so all of them) now. I am so sorry girl that I got you all freaked out. Do NOT look at any hints! You made it this far without looking, don't you quit on me now! lol I cannot guarantee that the finale is not something bad but I will say that I strongly believe it is something good. Even if it is a break up, they will get back together, Shamy is end game and nothing will change that. I am 95% something good, 4% something bad, 1% Shamy break up. dana1010 Posted May 2, 2015 Share Posted May 2, 2015 Yeah, I know you're right. I was just momentarily freaked out. I'm good again. I loved loved LOVED the hug! Just awwww!!!! Staring at that photo has made me really really excited for the finale. I have been attempting to put it on the back burner in my brain and focus on other things, but now I remember how cute they are together. I mean he is smiling on top of her head while they are hugging. Adorable. We haven't had a scene with them alone together since fort and that feels like it was ages ago. Don't forget the hand holding when they announced that they're planning to get a turtle and the bright smiles on their faces. I have been trying to occupy myself with other stuff too and crappy 12 hour days at the office help a lot. The long weekend because of a public holiday on Friday gave me too much time to obsess about the finale though (Thank God tomorrow is Monday! Lol). I also have a story to finish, but that doesn't really help with not thinking about Shamy and the finale... 5 days. Although I didn't really like the last few episodes (except for this weeks episode), I am looking forward to the final one next week. Usually after an episode airs, I go back and read all the reactions to the taping report. I do this sporadically throughout the season. I don't know if anyone is going to read ALL the posts in the spoiler threads after the finale. That would be insane! I got really lucky with the first SIK because I was at that taping. I have wondered if I would have managed to stay spoiler free for that. I wasn't as busy as I am during the week. So of course I spent the majority of my time thinking about what will happen with my favorite tv couple. I have thought of so many scenarios for the finale that one of them is bound to be right and the thought of that is driving me crazy. So happy the week has started and it is a busy one for me.
