Let's not waste time discussing Sheldon after this great Lenny episode we have just experienced. It might be a knee jerk reaction brought on by the minimalist experience of Season 8 but for me this may well be the most complete Lenny episode of the whole series!

100% positive interaction throughout the entire episode is a rarity. even the best of Lenny moments over the years have been preceded by angst or disappointment or insecurity but not this one.

Opening scene - Penny just couldn't stop smiling at Leonard. Where has that joy been for half of the season? Couldn't take my eyes of her. And where has all this love of Leonard and Penny from their friends been all season? Maybe good signs that next season we might get some excitement about the wedding from everyone ( finale events notwithstanding)

Their sexual chemistry was everywhere tonight. No need for the missing again kiss here because nearly everything they said to each other was laden with "I want you so bad"

I loved that Leonard was "at home" in Penny's apartment making a coffee when Penny came in with the outfit and the good news. I loved that Penny made such a massive effort to solve the issue of Leonard's speech disappointment. No sex offer, no helicopter present, ( no going to Sheldon for advice?!?[emoji12]). It was a real solution done all by her own initiative that was all about showing her appreciation of Leonard's achievements. [emoji106]

(I'm trying to turn it back to topic, Tensor...)

and we do appreciate the attempt...

How come nobody told me there was a new episode last night? . Looks like I missed a great lenny interaction and everyone saying how adorable they were. Dammit have to wait till tomorrow to watch it. but smilie face for Lenny. :)

iThis episode makes the prom episode for Lenny fans look mediocre.

ok several post have been hidden, several have been edited. This is both a Lenny thread and a ship zone. Talk Lenny. While other characters can be mentioned for causation, motives, desires, etc, of those other characters should not be discussed.

Just wanted to pop on and say even as a Shamy shipper, I did enjoy the happy Lenny last night.  I wish we would get more cuteness and Penny doing things for her man more often.  And the gown part was very cute & flirty.

Happy you guys got an episode like that...long overdue

Sorry to torture you, but Lenny and Penny were great this episode. There was no mocking, and no snarky, they teased each other with affection and the way Penny kept looking and smiling at Leonard, showed just how she loved her man. Lots of warm fuzzies and they were really funny together, a lot of good old fashion Lenny that we have missed this season.

Ahhh. Now that's my lenny. Can't wait to watch. I know you had a smirk on your face while typing. :) and of course you didn't mean to torture me. Lol.

I've watched the Graduation episode a few more times and I can't get over how funny it is and how amazingly well written it is. Everyone got funny lines and of course my favorite parts are the Lenny parts and as a few other Lenny fans have said it may be my new favorite episode. Penny and Leonard are at their cutest, sexiest most adorable best.  But, for me, this is Leonard's episode and truly showcases Johnny's talent. It feels like the writers are saying, " We're sorry we neglected you for so long. This one is yours, Baby. Have at it." And he did. OMG, the lines and the delivery.

"... junk in a garlic press."

"Greetings distinguished cheerleaders!"

"Sex last night. Pancakes this morning.Am I dying?"

"SHORT AND SEXY. THAT'S MY WHEELHOUSE." :girlinlove: My personal favorite! Not some boring sensible bran muffin. The Strawberry PopTart he wants to be for his Penny.

"This is very freeing!" wiggle, wiggle.

"A. Surprised you know that." And b. I wanted to be a sexy graduate FOR YOU".

"Done and done." leg kick.

So, pretty much, every time he opened his mouth! And the body language and facial expressions accompanying the words. Silly, funny, sassy, loving, excited. The timing, perfect.

And, maybe best of all for me, his speech was wonderful. I got a little anxious when he started, thinking, "Please, Leonard, don't go all winy and sad and pathetic on us" (as he's done in more than one of his cringe-worthy speeches). He was honest, sincere, moving and funny,  a fine man who survived tough times, and came out successful, accomplished, compassionate and happy.

Yes, I'm gushing, but imo, this episode is just so gush worthy!  :giveheart:

True words. SPTF. Everything of the episode was simply great. But Lenny was out of this world love them. The teasing, loving and the chemistry was so evident. Watched it 4 times already (omg did I just admit that) and my fav. Leonard doing the catwalk with the top half of the suit on just cracked me up. :).

Prom was a good episode.

Your right, the Prom and this episode are probably the best of the season, for Lenny's. The Prom had nice loving feels, as did this episode, but the Prom didn't have the easy going funny banter, that was so prevalent in the early seasons with Lenny and this episode seemed to have. The Prom did start out with Penny not wanting to go and not even considering Leonard's feelings until she asked him and even then she acted like she was trapped into going. It was only after seeing him in a tux and going up to the roof alone with him did she finally got into it all. This last episode, to me, Penny seemed to act like she really loved Leonard from the beginning, he is the guy she is with and they both love being together, like an engaged couple acts. To me there seemed to a comfort between them in this episode, they enjoy each other's company and care for each other, (like a couple who wants to marry each other) they are acting like we want to believe they act between all the disappointing episodes this season.
