Henry as Superman and Kurt as the Hulk It may well be the opening of Stuart's new store. I agree that it's not going to be a Halloween costume party (been there done that). But all the sci-fi pics on IG is making me think it's a fantasy episode in some form. I am very intrigued now (haven't forgotten the prom episode as it will forever been in my heart and I haven't even seen it yet) BUT this has been a good diversion. I also am expecting a special guest of some sort... Not sure why just am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah the prom ep sounds very Romantic, wonder how the purists well feel about it . I'm expecting that during the Thursday Night Football game, next Thursday, will have some heavy promotion of the move and the show, using some clips from the Tuesday taping. That and the progression in the writing has always been slow and meticlous. And besides being 8 years does not mean they should get married any sooner. Some people are friends for 8 years and only start dating. They have always dragged out these milestones. And I think in terms of callbacks, you can use Penny's reference to her brother as to when the wedding well be. Seeing they got back together in the 100th episode in Season 5, I can forsee the wedding being next season on the 200th episode. And Leonard and Penny then become the Monica and Chandler of the show haha, and see the comedy coming from them being a married couple. And I can't see Penny dressing in any sci-fi, Star Wars related costumes haha. And they don't need to get married straight away to make a lifelong commitment. They are in love, are engaged to me thats enough. I prefer they focus on more ensemble episodes, and more funner episodes. No reason to rush the wedding. I think Leonard and Penny well be the only couple to get married off though by series end. Personally, I see Leonard and Penny's relationship like Ross and Rachel. (not in characters' personality, just in the way we know from the beginning that the show will revolve around their relationship. Together, not together. Like Ross and Rachel in FRIENDS. I see now what you meant in your initial post, about wedding and the comedy in couple's life after wedding like Mondler in FRIENDS. And I agree. I didn't see it at my first read, my apologizes for that. What I meant is just I see Lenny like Ross and Rachel because of what I already pointed out, and ShAmy as Mondler because they are the second main couple (and become, like Mondler, the most interesting in my opinion. I don't think that having the cast dress up for Halloween is the same as dressing up for the prom episode. Whether or not they're in costume, it could still be Halloween related, the way Good Guy Fluctuation was. No one really dressed up in that one, but it involved pre-Halloween hijinkery. I remember that when Roxanne did that taping report, she didn't spoil Sheldon's final surprise--the couch prank--because it was such a good surprise. So I wonder if they're planning some big surprise, whether it has to do with Halloween directly, or tangentially. Like someone said, the big props couldn't be in Stuart's store on a permanent basis, so they might be for some dream/fantasy sequence. Whatever the situation is, as much as I love to read taping reports and get all the details, I think I'd lie to be surprised,if they have some really cool thing planned. SETI is listening for radio signals from space for extraterrestrials. There could be some great nerd-outs and sheldon freak outs (agitations) if a data misinterpretation lead to people thinking they'd found proof there was something "out there".
