I feel very intrigued on what's going to happen in this one! ...and giving my two cents on what happened here between Mon and today, i'm sorry some of you were truly upset for the promoted-however-cut hug scene, you all have a valid point and is that the so called 'hug' was promoted in the promo pics; the only reason i can think of is that the hug didn't fit in the scene, and when it comes to shorten the ep, the hug was a reasonable option. and with this in mind i'm glad they cut it off, because quite frankly, for what we can see of the promo pics (and the TR) that action can't even qualify as a hug, IMO. I had this bittersweet feeling when i saw the 'boa constrictor' hug in season 6, i was happy there was a form of physical contact between S and A, but it saddened me a little to see S wasn't yet so comfortable as to let himself hug Amy back, but i accepted it and took it anyway because it was overall a nice intimate shamy moment. however, in this case, if the cuasi-hug had aired, i'd have given it a massive eyeroll, it would have been able to be seen from the Moon, seriously, to see that type of reaction from S at this point of their relationship, would have been extremely dissapointing, so there is that. another thing i wanted to say is that, concerning what happened with the 'report-leaks' (lol), i'm not a fan of letting know freely, without 'spoiler alert', what happens on a oncoming episode, outside of this spoiler threads. and if everything comes down to restrict in some way the access to TR (in case we have them, because we shouldn't take them for granted!), you have my vote. They filmed something, I was excited. We had a promo photo of it, I was more excited. It was cut, I was upset about it. Kazzie, you're certainly allowed to feel what you feel when and how you feel it, but I think what's been going on here is putting it perspective. In the grand scheme of the Shamy relationship, and certainly in the context of the episode, this particular hug wasn't any kind of real turning point. While it may have been very cute to see it, I don't think it was crucial to the scene. Whether or not they should have out it in the promos isn't a matter of bait-and-switch, IMO, but probably more a matter of the stills being released before the episode was completely edited. If the promos pics are taken during taping, then anything can happen between that Tuesday night and the time it airs. We've had all kinds of changes before, between taping and airing--different takes being used, new tag scenes shot after taping night (the Streetcar scene, the end of the first Professor Proton episode, etc.) When one has more invested, it's harder to take, but in this case, again, it wasn't really a game-changer. As for the ILY, that's not going to change. Tats a completely different situation as the whole scene is built around it and it is the whole purpose of the scene. Even on our programs it said "special guest" where the actors name usually is...sadly i read a sheet with his name on it before I saw that, awkward.... LOL!!!!!!!! He doesn't play himself, but a creepy character named Oliver who is a celebrity urinary doctor or something? He has James Camerons kidney stones. LOL, he falls in love with every girl nice to him and counts Mississippi's when girls touch his arm.. Kind of a second plot with Amy and Bernadette having an argument but it was dropped that it doesn't really count... Showed us the Prom episode, was AMAZING Writing up my report now.. Sounds like it to me plus they probably want to hype on the BillyB element which to some novice viewers may be a big deal, and it's the first episode back on Thurs and sweeps. They already have us but if a name like Billy Bob gets the novice or new viewers to move nights and watch, can't say I blame them.
