So either Leonard is having surgery to fix his sleep apnea or Sheldon breaks his nose walking into a door - or maybe both.

the septum separates the chambers of your nostrils, but if you want to go super latiny it can mean the partition between 2 rooms, so if there was a double meaning it could refer to a change in the roommate situation

You're right. But they have done stuff with noses before. Howard, Penny and Sheldon had nose injuries. it just seemed if this happened in the middle of the night it might be something else besides a deviated septum.

How about this?  Leonard has the surgery and Sheldon goes to visit him in the hospital.  While there, Sheldon runs into a glass door, injuring himself badly enough to need surgery.  Leonard and Sheldon end up roommates in a double-occupancy hospital room.

Taping is over. Leonard is getting the septum surgery. The bear Sheldon was holding was not for leonard though. Amy bought it for sheldon because he stubbed his toe. Sheldon is VERY worried about Leonard's surgery. A brief earthquake hits in the waiting room and sheldon goes to check on leonard. He ends up running into a glass door and they both end up with bandages on their nose in the end. There is much more though. Will write more when I get home. Will talk about the shamy later

Also forgot to mention that Raj's parents are getting a divorce and Howard and Bernadette are trying to cheer him up. Will be in chat soon, just gotta go home and grab a bite

Hi everyone. Here’s a more detailed summary of The Septum Deviation. I might have forgotten something but these are the main parts of the episode. Sorry about the dialogue. The actual episode is a lot funnier that this report.

 

 

 

Sheldon and Amy are sitting on the couch playing a game. There is a card on his forehead with the word Tesla on it. Amy is giving him clues as to what the word is. Amy says it is someone who is accomplished. Sheldon says “It’s me!” Amy says no. Sheldon finally figures out what the word is and Leonard and Penny enter the apartment. Leonard says that the doctor has been sticking things up his nose. Amy asks if the doctor found out what was wrong. Leonard says that he has a deviated septum and he has to get surgery. Sheldon tells Leonard that he can’t get the surgery. Leonard tells Sheldon that the surgery will fix his snoring. Sheldon says that his snoring wasn’t that bad.

 

Leonard is sleeping in his bedroom. He is snoring loudly, Camera zooms out and Sheldon is sitting on his bed staring at him. Leonard looks at him and says “Why?” Sheldon says he is listening to his snoring and he hid in the closet until he fell asleep. Sheldon starts telling him the risks of surgery. He tells Leonard all the reasons why he shouldn’t get the surgery. Leonard still wants to go through with it. The picture of Leonard and Penny at the prom is in a frame on the table by Leonard’s bed.

 

Howard, Bernadette, and Raj are all eating dinner together. Raj says he needs help finding a gift for his parent’s 40^th anniversary. He suggests that he give them drink coasters with his face on it. He holds up the coasters that he gave Howard and Bernadette.

 

Sheldon is in the apartment at his whiteboard writing down everything that could possibly go wrong with Leonard’s surgery. He tells Leonard that many people have died from just the anesthesia alone. Leonard tells Sheldon that he could die driving to the hospital. Sheldon says he wrote that down too. Sheldon keeps telling Leonard that he will die. Leonard tells Sheldon he’ll reconsider the surgery.

 

Howard knocks on Raj’s apartment door. Raj is on the phone and it looks serious. Raj tells Howard that his parents have just gotten a divorce and his father moved out. Raj looks really saddened by it and he cries to Howard saying he came from a broken home.

 

Leonard and Penny are in the waiting room getting checked in. Leonard tells Penny that he told Sheldon they were going swimming in the public pool. Scene cuts to Sheldon and Amy in the car. Sheldon is eating French toast sticks and he thanks Amy for letting him eat them in the car. Sheldon says if Leonard was really going swimming, he would have brought his swimming t- shirt. Amy admits that Leonard is getting the surgery as they speak. Sheldon has a very worried look on his face and he tells Amy to drive him over there now.

 

Sheldon and Amy arrive at the waiting room. Leonard has already gone into surgery. Penny is sitting in one of the chairs and Sheldon stares at Penny. Penny asks Amy why she told him. Amy says she had to and Sheldon was distracting her because he was wearing extra baby powder today. Sheldon is carrying a teddy bear and a balloon and Amy tells Penny that he stubbed his toe in a revolving door on the way here and she bought it for him.

 

Howard and Bernadette arrive at Raj’s office to cheer him up. Bernadette brings him some muffins. Raj still looks very sad and Howard and Bernadette aren’t helping very much.

 

Penny, Amy, and Sheldon are still in the waiting room. Suddenly, the whole room shakes. Sheldon gets startled. Penny and Amy aren’t really shocked by it. Then the room shakes again and the lights flicker. Sheldon worries that the earthquake will cause Leonard’s surgery to go wrong. He gets up quickly to check on him and heads for the door. He winds up running into the glass on the door and falling to the ground.

 

Howard and Bernadette are in the apartment and Howard asks Bernadette if there’s anything he doesn’t like about her. Howard says “You’re just too beautiful.”

 

Sheldon and Leonard are in their robes on the couch with bandages on their nose. Sheldon has a black eye. Leonard is teasing Sheldon telling him "You wuv me." Sheldon says he had to check if he was ok because of the earthquake. They are both talking nasally and Penny is making fun of them.

 

Howard and Bernadette are in the apartment sitting at the table talking more about marriage. Raj walks in and says that his mom has already started dating someone, but she was probably doing that while she was married.

I don't think this one is a bribe, just trying to make him feel better.  He hurt his toe and he is scared about Leonard.
