phantagrae
I need to hear the actual parasite speech to know for sure. If it's a feeling of trust and happiness being in the other person's presence, like he has with leonard and Penny, then it isn't necessarily 'romantic' love. But if his symptoms include his heart racing or his stomach flipping when he sees her, coupled with a general inclination to stay (or regret when he runs)... well you don't get that kind of feeling from seeing your mother. I hope. I think that Sheldon's "I like you, quirks and all" was the equivalent of "I like being in your presence", etc.. I think there's no doubt that this particular confession is about romantic love, given the circumstances. They're dressed up, there's talk of coitus, she takes the pressure off, he's talking about strange feelings inside. To me, that doesn't spell, "I like to hang around with you." IMO, the hanging around kind of like/love happened when he asked her to be his girlfriend. I think the romantic love has been simmering for a while and started boiling up with that kiss on the train. That wasn't a platonic kiss.
Denyy
Let me just say that I'm happy that scene didn't end up with Amy saying "I'd like to tell you something and it's okay if you don't feel that way about me..." and Sheldon interrupting her with "You're right. I don't." or something similarly horrible, because that would be the exact moment when I would start packing my suitcase, get on a plane to the US and kick Molaro's and everybody else's asses. Why would they do that? And besides, you can't just blame Molaro for everything, just because he's the showrunner.

Guest
I just don't get all the hating. God, there was a PETITION to get him fired. Seriously? After all, the show's ratings went up rapidly after he became the showrunner in season 6 (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm glad he's not using his Twitter account anymore or any other social media. I don't know how Bill can put up with so many crazy people on Twitter. I feel really sorry for him.

rachelshamyfan
Tensor Do you think "they" will find a way to get the missing 1st week somewhere so that there will be 24 episodes? I can't see a problem with them finding space to do it, can you?

I can't see a problem with them finding space to do it, can you? No, they they usually finish up mid-April, if they add a week, they can still have 24. I have not heard anything about cutting the season to 23 episodes. They might even be able to fit one in sometime this spring. It's going to depend on the production schedule. But I don't see them doing any less than 24 episodes.

I don't know if he's going to go into any detail in his speech about the parasite, but I feel like the writers added this after his confession to drive home the fact that he's feeling romantic love. There would be little point to establishing that he loves her like he does Leonard and Penny -- in a platonic way -- and I don't think Molaro would have referred to this is a big move forward in their relationship if TPTB only intended to infer that he loves her as one loves a close friend. I don't know how Bill can put up with so many crazy people on Twitter. I feel really sorry for him. I was of course just kidding with my comment. People always go to extremes when it comes to their favourite TV shows/books (people sending death threats and letters to Game of Thrones writer etc.) and since Molaro is responsible for many many plots, he's the easiest target. People love him when he comes up with a plot they like, people hate it when he comes up with a plot they don't like. Sad, but true. Honestly, I jokingly wrote what I wrote because sometimes I'm kinda paranoid, being a huge Game Of Thrones fan I just expect the worst things to happen every other episode and sometimes I forget that TBBT is actually "just" a comedy. Tensor
Looking at it, there seems to be a letter after the "f" and space wise there's only room for the "l". David is listed under story, so it's probably something current in science ( we need to monitor the possible science this year thread) someone get's involved with, and he gave the overarching way to tell it. Deflections and reflections could have something to do with Leonard's lasers.

phantagrae
Reflection or deflection. Now for the second word. Inflection? It looks like the second word could start with a D--it looks like it's kind of not quite round, like an O.
