djsurrey
According to Morya! The title of 8x12 is "The Space Probe Disintegration". Reminds one of the recent antares rocket explosion. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/antares-rocket-explosion-orbital-sciences-corp-looks-for-cause-of-blast-1.2816911
Tomasina
Could be Howard related, or maybe they set up the telescope on the roof or in the desert to watch it burn up on reentry.
Martin Pollard
Or the "space probe" refers to Howard, and the disintegration is his marriage to Bernadette. Okay, it's wild and wacky and completely out there, but why should you guys have all the fun doing things like that?
djsurrey
Of course space probe could have a less conventional meaning. Perhaps related to living space. Things are still hanging regarding Howard's mother and Stewart... ...if howard's mother dies in the show who gets the house...

tmp
I know it's early to make predictions about the s8 finale, but I'm gonna do it anyway. I think it's Raj's turn to be sent off--even though I wish they would stop sending people away for the summer. My prediction is that Emily finishes her residency and gets a permanent job in another city. Raj decides to go with her, but at the beginning of s9, he realizes it won't work and he returns to Pasadena.

Unless Raj marries her at the end of S8 and they spend their honeymoon in India.
Kathy2611
Just for s&@ts & giggles, I went over to the ShennyHQ to see what they think of this season so far (laughed my arse off, BTW) but one question kept popping up. If they can't stand the show so much, why the hell do they keep watching? I don't get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are they angry about the L/P engagement and the Shamy ILY? I can't imagine how they can find any way to spin the current storylines to fit their fantasies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Well, some of them, one of whom I actually regularly hang with IRL and should catch up with soon for a festive drink, are very enamoured of the potential that was in Sheldon and Penny. Two good lookers with a fun dynamic. And some liked that Sheldon had no interest in women, or men. Its a real thing. So they are just following their preferences. Its like how some prefer olives to liquorice. Unfathomable, to those who don't have the same tastes, but if something resonates with you, as long as its amongst consenting adults, why not vibrate along with it. I'm still struggling with Sheldon actually using his functional equipment. But many have hoped for that despite it having seemed most remote. 3ku11
Angry at what the show or themselfs? If you watch the premise and the pilot. Its no so surprising Leonard and Penny are endgame. Sheldon got a gf who is PERFECT for him. So I am wondering seeing that ship sailed in 2009, who are they excatly angry at? Themselfs for investing in something that wasen't actually their in the first place haha? Projecting much. Like Sheldon said, "I'm sorry, if you diddn't cheer at my entrance, it's too late to buy into the premise".

Tensor
This has come up before, and Trippers view is that their preferences are their preferences. He does not like derogatory comments about other forums or members of other forums, just as we would not like other forums to be derogatory about this forum, or the members here. We do have contact with people at ShennyHQ, and they do not allow bashing of this forum, as we don't allow bashing of their forum. If you see something you think constitutes bashing there, PM either me or Tripper and we will look at it. The question becomes, if you dislike Shenny so much, why are any of you bothering to go there? Aren't derogatory comments on their preferences hating on them? Some of the more egregious posts have been hidden
phantagrae
Some, yes and yes. And they do try and spin certain scenes....badly!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk My favorite "spin" is still the bird thing (though there may be some new more outrageously funny ones nowadays--I don't keep up) from Ornithaphobia. The bluejay represents Penny--because she was a bird tapestry hanging on her door (or she used to, I think it's been gone for a while)--and SHeldon being afraid, then overcoming his fear, then loving the bird, is a depiction of how his feelings for Penny have or will evolve (once that pesky Amy is out of the picture). Because it's all about the "foreshadowing", doncha know!
