dana1010 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 First let me say that I am sorry that I didn't tell you all that I was going to a taping. I don't like people knowing that I am going and I hope you can respect that. This taping was amazing and by far my favorite taping. It was not my favorite because of the scenes that were filmed but because of the audience vibe and the behind the scenes that I got to see. I sat in the back row in front of Sheldon and Leonard's apartment and there were several scenes filmed there. Kunal was having a lot of fun with the audience, joking around and just being overall funny while they were still rolling through a scene but hadn't called action yet. The cast were talking a lot to each other. Simon, Melissa, and Kaley were chatting it up in a scene as were Kaley and Johnny in another. In between one scene, Kunal gave Jim a hug and they started talking with a crew person. From what I guessed they were talking about working out, because Jim made a motion that looked like a bench press and it looked like they were talking about pull ups and chin ups. Before you all freak out about that realize that I know assume they were talking about their dance moves for the flash mob they did at the end of the taping. The people in the audience who go up to do various things were hilarious. A guy from Columbia came up and danced to a Demi Lovato song and it was so entertaining that Mayim, Kaley, and Melissa couldn't help but look at him and smile. A guy who was double jointed in his shoulder came up and did something weird with his arm that twisted it out of its socket. Both Kunal and Johnny both saw him do it and gave disgusted looks. Johnny looked as if he never wanted to see it again. After the curtain call, the music started blaring and you can see all the crew dancing behind the black screens. They move the black screens and the whole cast and crew go into a long flash mob dance scene. I didn't have the best view of the cast because I was seated in the back and the cast was in the front. I was able to peek my head through the crowd to watch Jim dance. He was very good and very entertaining to look at. After the flash mob was over, the comedian said to thank the choreographer, Kaley's sister. After the dance, I saw Mayim and Jim hug each other. As I was walking out I saw champagne glasses which I assume was for their holiday party. This taping was worth waiting 7 hours in the rain to see. I believe batman is writing up an actual taping report for this episode. I just wanted to share with you these amazing behind the scenes moments. I will fill in any holes that I can in batman's report sometime tomorrow when I have time.
