Maybe. Possible funeral for Mrs W? Maybe too Dark for Bbt. Cant really get any comedy out of it. Lenny church hunting seems more likely.

I am sick of peoples saying funerals is too dark for sitcoms. Many Sitcoms have done Funeral episodes.

You can do a Funeral on sitcoms as long it you do it right and It doesn't have to be dark like All In The Family or Roseanne

Friends did a funeral episode where Phoebe Mother died and her father showed up.

Mary Tyler Moore show probably did one of the best, They manage to throw some comedy into it during the Funeral scene. as did everybody Loves Raymond.

Although with the champagne and Leonard picking a place for their wedding and them celebrating.

They already said no Lenny wedding this season so the Church has to be for Misses W funeral they said that will be addressed it may not be funny but has to be dealt with much like John Ritter's death had to be dealt with in 8 Simple Rules. Knowing Carol Ann I am sure she want them to be funny and respectful at the same time

Might be a Jewish Temple they are building

Im aware of that. Sitcoms can do funerals if done properly. I remember Taahm did one (spoof in s6 was good not the horrendous real one). I am just saying she died in real life too. So in this case its special. So it maybe too dark.

Thats true. Mrs W funeral. Im still sad over Carol passing. However they address it, it will be classy and in remembrance of Carol and Mrs Wolowitz

Yeah maybe they could make it funny. And the emotional part well be Howards Eulegy. I don't think the writers planned on this kind of episode. So well see.

Last season, Lenny went to PP's funeral.  Granted, they didn't show the actual service, but Lenny were at the funeral and it was both a touching and funny moment.

Having said that, this is different because it's a real person who passed away and not just the character.  There's no reason the show can't take a serious moment to honor the character Carol Ann brought to life.  I'm expecting mostly serious but with something funny to bookend it.  Maybe the funeral being held in a church rather than a synagogue is actually for humor.

I would be grateful if someone with better informations could answer me one question ... Is it possible for non religious people to have wedding in church in U.S ? (In my country it's not, so now I'm confused with this Lenny finding church idea... assuming they aren't religious for what I can recall).

It depends on the church. Some will allow you to use their facility and minister for a fee. Some require you to be a member of their church or their denomination. My wife and I got married in a church, although neither of us were members of the church or their denomination

When my husband and I got married 14 years ago, neither one of us were (and still not) religious. I picked a church because of the way it looked on the outside (it was beautiful!). Their only requirement was that we took a couples class, attend one service before getting married and pay a fee (I think it was like $100 or something).

But Tensor is right. It depends on the church (and religion). But most churches here in America will marry you for a fee, whether you belong or not or even if you are religious or not.

Interesting ! We have condition that at least one partner has to be christened to have wedding in church. I believe only way is deconsecrated church, but it's rare, and cost a lot of money. I'm not that familiar with these traditions in other countries so thanks all for clarification  ;) Wedding in nice church would be beautiful ! And since Debbie was Jewish it makes more sense I believe.

Oh man, such fun!  (Can't see Mayim's IG post, though.)

I can read the back of the t-shirts (you got new ones!)--"Fair warning: we can get Ca-razy!", but not the front--"Amy's ____"?

And it looks like y'all have different colored tiaras.

Very cute!

So whose fancy Nike's are those?  Bill's?

I imagine that it's Bill's foot and I get the impression that everyone got a pair from the way he worded his Tweet
