I know I first noticed it when looking through the TV Guide I got last week. They usually put a "NEW!" indicator in the grid listing of shows and the listing for the 12th didn't have that. Kind of sucks, but I think it means the rest of the month will be new episodes. And apparently they're also going to be cramming BBT reruns in the slots of all the shows they've been cancelling... I'm also one of the Shamy's who don't have a problem with this latest episode that was taped. And if you look back, I'm the one trying to calm the author down and pull her away from the ledge. Hopefully some more upset Shamy's will come away from the ledge with her. And you have to admit, you DO like to stir the pot and see who bites. I find it rather humorous, especially when you can get a response. Then I get upset because I don't how to make popcorn gifs (or any others for that matter). Its great they can do something like that, shows how settled the couples are. The whole point of putting s and p in that situation, is because these are two people who clearly have no romantic feelings for each other lol. So it's funny, albeit creepy. But coming to the conclusion they are brother and sister, has alrady been restablished so many times. Leonard and Penny do it, it would most likely end with a kiss . Like some said she was in close proximity with the guy for four months, by the end in 7x02 when she was walking down the stairs with groceries she was over Sheldon lol. So some harmless experiment wont make a difference, seeing she was just distracting Sheldon from them organising a surprise birthday party. When you think about it, its the writers fault early on in some vague scenes. But hey the fact this show can still garner such emotions, albeit unneccssary says something. I' m just not sure why some, generally Shamy fans, are on the ledge over this. Lenny fans are more upset over a lack of a Lenny storyline. it seems to me Shamy had had a good year and is hard to understand why some are upset over this. It's just the fact Jim and Kaley have a lot of chemistry to a point where fans just love to root for them. It's also like, whenever I watched S/P in the past, it always to me felt like there is always something going on. And on so many occasions I always expected something more between them. And I use to be a big a*s Shenny fan and a big a*s Shamy fan but now I've totally discarded shipping Shenny as a couple. So, now I'm totally Shamy FTW. I get the rooting for them part, but theirs needs to be some form of logic here. Sheldon ain't a normal guy, and he is not Penny's type lol. Her being very sexual person, and Sheldon intellectual. It was established in the pilot vicarousley through Sheldon. If Penny had a choice between all the guys, she would choose Leonard every single time because compared to the other guys, he is a mack daddy, the most normal guy of the group. Penny like Leonard has always had this maternal instinct and affection towards Sheldon. So people over time have twisted it to suit their own pre conceived notions. But unfortunately for them their was never any under tone. Just a tone of bla bla bla I am so smart I am so smart. Bla Bla Bla Boys Boys Shoes Shoes lol. Chemistry doesn't necessarily mean 'Romantic Chemistry.' I think Jim and Kaley have good chemistry., Bloopers are a good example of this they are close friends off camera. The first time Leonard took one look at Penny, I instantly knew they would ultimately end up together. I always thought Kaley and Johnny had amazing romantic chemistry from the start. The thought of Sheldon and Penny maybe turning into something never crossed my mind from any one scene, line or look they shared on the show. If anything, Penny seemed absolutely annoyed by Sheldon and Sheldon only tolerated her for Leonard. I credit Jim and Kaley's great acting skills for their comedic timing/comedic chemistry. That's just my interpretation of what I saw. People are certainly free to feel the way they do and ship couples that are not cannon. Just because I don't personally understand it, doesn't mean others don't have the right to feel the way they do. I have enjoyed watching Penny and Leonard, but I don't think I ever really shipped them until recently. After watching so many reruns on TBS from previous seasons, I'm actually falling in love with this couple. I'm a die hard Shamy, but Lenny's journey is very touching to me. Sorry for rambling. Kinda agree with you. :-):-) i see the Shenny as more of a sibling not as a couple. They are like North and South pole though they may quarrel at times, as you can see in many episodes...Penny really cares for Sheldon in a way that she acted like almost a mother type for him. I was laughing so much when Penny brought Sheldon to Disneyland and when they got home, Penny acted like a mother to him.
