Kaley's wedding ring is a clue. It's an episode about Lenny's wedding planning. Tongue only partially in cheek. ;)

I never thought about that until you  said that but that could be! We haven't had a episode about their Engagements or wedding Planning yet.

We are now in the last Half of season 8 with 8 Episodes left to tape which are the most important ones. They give you an idea on how the season may end

I wish that some of the following episodes would focus more on Howard's, as well as Stuart's, dealing with the loss of mrs Wolowitz. But by the end of this season or at the beginning of season nine I want Stuart to be the way he was in earlier seasons! He was so much more fun back then. He was almost one of the cool nerds. He owned a comic book store that (in earlier seasons) seemed to be successful, he was hosting art exhibits, he even dated Penny for a while. What happened? Did the fact that she cried out Leonard's mame while making out with him really hit him that hard? I am all for character development but what writers did to Stuart, especially in comparisson as to how other characters had changed, seems to be opposite from that. For example, he got Penny give him her phone number in the comic book store and in season five he couldn't even talk to Allison! And I really don't want this to come off as diserespectful to mrs Wolowitz character or Carol Ann Susi (R.I.P.) but that whole... subplot about her and Stuart was quite creepy. It actually makes me mad because Howard would have spent more time with his mother before she died if Stuart wasn't there! I know that she and Howard didn't get along as well and that if Stuart wasn't there Howard would hardly appreciate the moments he would share with her and after she would die he would probably still feel guilty over something that he did or said to her before she died, and I know that hanging out with Stuart was making mrs Wolowitz happy, but that is just bothering me and I can't help it.... Stuart is still my favorite recurring character and I wish him the best but the overdoing of the whole mrs Wolowitz/Stuart thing really screwed his character for me on some level. I don't know, since he had a date with cousin Jeanie and now has a new comic book store, I hope that he gets better and gets a girlfriend eventually (no cousin Jeanie!) but I am just mad at writers for writing him that way in this season and baffled by the flanderisation of his charactee and I just want some real development for him ASAP.

I think they couldn't really make him be more successful than the other 4 guys, and probably felt they had more comedy to mine in his extreme struggle than if everything was cool.

And that kind of retail can be a struggle--up one moment and down the next, especially in such a niche market.  And I think his dating confidence did go down after the date with Penny.

While his character is something of a caricature in recent years, I think the relationship with Mrs. W was kind of funny.  I mean, her relationship with any of the guys was kind of inappropriate, from making Sheldon help her stuff her bosom, etc., into a dress, to bathing Raj, to hugging it up (or whatever they were doing) with Stuart, I think it's consistent for Mrs. W, epecially since she "lost" her son to "the little Catholic girl".

I think it was also a relief from the back-and-forth between Mrs. W and Bernie over Howard's attention.  He had to "leave and cleave" as they say because those stories were getting a little repetitive.

Is that Leonard's engagement ring?

I think that's probably Kaley's own ring, since she wouldn't be in costume for a table read.

I am confuse could you please explain more? Do writers write certain Episode plot and same with color of script?

The color of the script cover doesn't matter, I think they just rotate through different colors.

And they say that certain writers don't necessarily write specific kinds of stories or story lines for specific characters, but it does seem to be anecdotally common for Tara Hernandez to be associated with Amy or Shamy stories.  Dunno.

All I was pointing out was that one could see their names, so that all of the writer info was not hidden.

Are any Shamy enthusiasts?

I don't think one can parse that issue out.

I don't understand why Kaley's ring is an implication of anything? Married people wear wedding rings. Just because my professor wears a wedding ring, doesn't mean that someone in my class is getting married. I don't think we should get our hopes too high off of that.

I think the point is that this is the first time we've seen something like this. It's usually just the script and a pencil. Now it's a script and a pencil and Kaley's hand showing off an engagement ring (no wedding band). So the implication is it might relate to the script.

Bill very rarely puts anything other than writing instruments over the titles and in this case, he used Kaley's hand, the one with her wedding ring.  It was a bit of a joke to connect him using Kaley's hand to planning for the wedding.  You did notice that I put tongue in cheek, right?  One of the things we like to do here is to trying to read everything and anything into the little bits that we get.  It keeps us occupied.

It a better then the alternative lol

What, Sheldon impregnating Penny directly, you mean?

well if she closed her eyes and thought of science... and Leonard had died in a lab accident... and all the other men on the planet are dead... and all the IVL labs in the world have been destroyed...then um still no.

LOL
