He was on today.My wife is planning to be at the TBBT taping on Tuesday. She is out there with some of her family. her mother is a fan of Ellen so that's why I knew about Ellen not taping next week. At one point a few years ago Letterman taped 2 shows (with separate audiences) to have one less day of taping a week. Some of them went a couple of years ago and saw the Price is Right taping/show. My wife watches TBBT, not like us on here, and has seen almost every show. I was able to get just her a ticket. The other three don't watch the show and my daughter's too young to go though watches the show.. I'm not sure how it's going to all work out because they are staying by LAX. Tensor Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Ellen generally tapes Mon through Thursday, with two on Thursday, but there are hiatuses, as Chrismo pointed out. I believe her taping is at 5 PM (with and extra one at 12 Noon on Thursday). About the only thing the actors do on Wednesday is the table read. If I remember an early article, their day starts around 9 or 10 AM, which means the table read will be finished no later than noon to 1 PM, Plenty of time for Jim to get there. kerrycec03 Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 I agree its very fishy that we got no script cover. When the cast is uber quiet on set (aside from the Sardis thing) its fishy. They were extremely quiet the week leading to the taping I saw and it was the heavy Mrs. Wolowitz death episode, so it was probably a rough week... And folks know when they rehearse they do it by scenes so if a cast member is watching basketball it doesn't mean they arent in the episode, just maybe not in that scene. And as Tensor pointed out, Ellen tapes Mon-Thurs (with two shows on Thurs). Very standard talk schedule. Tensor Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 He posted the complaint about Hiltons around 11 PM eastern this morning. It's a about an hour from either Orlando or Tampa airports to Lakeland. So If he flew today, it would have to be a really early flight out of LA (about 5 AM or so). So He may have left Thursday. Either way, he would have been there for the table read on Wednesday. However, he may have been distracted with getting ready for his trip, which is why we didn't get a photo of the script. For me it's like this - if it would happen, than I want it to be because Sheldon is one hundred percent comfortable with the idea. I don't think anyone should be pressured so much, even selfish Sheldon. If he ever would told Amy he really don't wants it, and Amy would say she can't live without it, than I think it would be better to just let each other go ...and I'm saying that as their biggest shipper. I'm more than eager to see Sheldon making compromises for Amy, but not in this area. There was discussion similar to this on another forum and what I found interesting was, that when reversed roles were implied - Sheldon being all for sex, Amy opposed, most of people were not comfortable with an idea of girl being pressured to just "give up" and give the guy what he wants. I guess i think that for comedy's sake that it is going to happy in a way that Sheldon will flip out about but then admit afterwards that he actually really enjoyed himself. This isn't the same as trying to decide who should get to pick the movie they go see our something. This doesn't make Amy a doormat our Sheldon selfish. This Amy having enough respect for Sheldon not to pressure him into sex and Sheldon having enough respect for himself not too be pressured into something he doesn't want to do. To different degrees they all enable his bad behaviors. Do I think Amy should put her foot down with Sheldon a bit more...yeah, but so could Leonard. I think this season Shamy's relationship is headed towards a more balanced relationship. Don't get me wrong, there's still room for improvement, but it's in a much better place than previous years, jmho. As for Amy using the Tardis door as her new bedroom door, I don't think she did it to entice Sheldon to sleep with her. It's a possibility...as anything's possible...I just don't think that was the reason. I feel like the character Amy knows that Sheldon just isn't ready yet and would never pressure him into sex, even subliminally. Like Chrismo said, being a Shamy doesn't make me more knowledgeable than anyone else, so I'll leave it up to the writers to determine Shamy's future intimate endeavors. Amy wants it and I don't care what you guys say the writers have implied it so many times and like always everyone has to wait for Sheldon to be ready to move on including lenny. I'm really not being mean here but if it was real life Amy would have been off years ago because you have two people who clearly want different things. Amy has been patient she has waited four years and he is still not ready. When is he going to be ready? Not fair on Amy. I say you go girl do everything in your power to get him there be it getting him drunk or the tardis thing to get your leg over or what ever because if she stop hinting or trying he will never be ready and it's not ok for Sheldon to keep teasing her with all the sex comments he has made this season but when Amy does try to entice him, its he is not ready. BS. Well stop giving her mixed messages. I want the best for Amy and just feel Sheldon is not playing fair.
