They only go by episodes...not by scenes.  Both are 24 episode contract players...so full time...meaning they can be used as much or little in an episode as the script calls for, but they have to be there for all 24 episodes.

i think Mayim may have hit her limit of Shamy scenes. By the way did they introduce this new character Leonard to the show? I might have seen him in the past I just can't remember him though.

I think either it's just coincidentally a two-episode lull for Mayim, or else she has some other stuff going on like Passover.

It is just that they have a focus on other characters these two episodes.   Nothing more.   She will likely be in the next two, or at least one of them in a bigger way again.  It happens.  Sometimes the story has to go to other people.

Raj having his allowance taken away shouldn't have any consequence to him paying his rent.....he gets a salary after all!

I think Raj may live beyond his means so that he uses a combination of his salary and his parents money to get by, but even so, if he pays his rent from his salary and pays for his toys from his allowance, but blows his rent (salary) on a toy, then his parents may not want to pick up the slack for him.

I think Leonard's comment in the Fort episode, during the podcast, was important. He mentioned that after all those years in school, he has all kinds of loans to pay back. I don't know that Raj would be in the same situation, but it could be something similar.

I was at the taping tonight. Happykitty posted the main plot lines. It was a fun taping to be at. The cast were very chatty with each other. Melissa and Simon had some funny bloopers as they kept on laughing during a scene. The whole cast was in the first scene together and I saw them take a selfie together. They all seemed to be having fun talking in between scenes. Random thing I noticed was that Jim put his script underneath his couch cushion during one scene and in another scene he put it in a drawer in the kitchen.

 

Unfortunately nothing really major (in my opinion) happened. There were some really cute Leonard and Penny scenes as she called his old high school to convince them to have him give his graduation speech over skype. And Leonard also came out wearing a sexy graduate costume that was pretty hilarious. There was also some cool helicopter drone robot special effects that looked pretty cool.

 

I will not write a full report, but I am happy to answer any specific questions you might have.

I think the guest star you are talking about is Katerine Von Till and sheplayed like a Tech Support recording voice. I don't remember exactly what she said but probably something like "your call is very important to us".

 

The first scene was with everyone eating dinner (no surprise there lol), and Leonard comes in asking Penny if she is ready to fly back home with him. Also Raj tells Howard that his robotic helicopter drone is broken and asks him to visit.

 

The story is by Chuck Lorre, Dave Goetsch, and Anthony Del Broccolo. The teleplay is by Steven Molaro, Steve Holland, and Eric Kaplan. The title is The Graduation Transmittion. And I don't care what you do Tensor.

 

Sexy grad outfit, had Leonard wearing a graduation outfit that only goes to the top of his knees. He comes out and Penny laughs and says you know you are supposed to wear clothes underneath them. Leonard responds with he wanted to show her a sexy graduate.

 

BTS: When Kaley and Johnny came up to thank the audience, he was still wearing the outfit. Kaley joked that it was probably the first time she was wearing more clothes than him when they go up to thank the audience.

 

To the Mayim fans (myself included), she was only in the first scene. The scene was not Shamy related and was a big group scene. She did have some lines about how it was nice of Leonard to take Penny back to his old high school. And now he can go back with a beautiful woman on his arms.

With regards to your observation on Jim's script...Of course these actors are all true professionals, but I am always impressed with the reports of how they absorb the re-writes on the fly during the taping.  I would find that terrifying...but these guys probably love the challenge!

Thanks guys! About Jim hiding his script, at the taping last week Jim had his notecards and in one scene he hid them under the couch cushion in his spot. And I think he hid them in the kitchen as well.

It sounds like another simply fun episode, and that's fine with me.

Mr. Koothrappali finds out that Raj spent the amount of money for his rent on a toy helicopter drone. Mr. Koothrappali tells him that he is now cutting him off from his finances. Raj later tries to go and return the helicopter but finds out that Sheldon and Howard have torn it apart to try and fix it. Then Raj calls his mom and tells her that his dad cut him off because his dad has such an active social life. His mom then says that she will give him more money than his dad did.

 

Later Mr. Koothrappali called and asks Raj why Ms. Koothrappali thinks he is some kind of play boy. Raj then says how he has always been influence by his father and how he was his role model. Scene ends with it being implied that Mr. Koothrappali starting giving him back his money.

 

Sorry this explanation is probably very confusing, basically think of a little kid trying to benefit from a divorce by manipulating each parent to get whatever he/she wants.
