Information For Attending A Taping

Los Angeles, I am in you, as they say. Blimey. Well, yes. My body clock is all over the place - my brain says it's 15:57pm although it's now 7:57am, I had a terrible night's sleep despite being knackered after being up for nearly 24 hours straight, but it's great to be here. Had a wander down Hollywood Boulevard last night and encountered all manner of strangeness, ate lots of fried chicken, bought a Twinkie (when I was a kid, every American comic book I ever had carried ads for Twinkies and Sea Monkeys, and in my head they formed part of the mythos of America. I'm not planning on buying some Sea Monkeys though) and it was vile. Utterly vile!

Off to the Warner Bros VIP tour at 12:30 today. I like it here. :icon_razz:

Good decision. Sea monkeys are even less tasty than Twinkies. ;)

Enjoy your tour. Hope you share your impressions of it with us here.

Woohoo indeed! I made sure o prime our excellent guide. Yes, it is surreal walking in there. The stage is very large, but the living room set is smaller than it looks on TV. Quite an experience being there though. For me, almost on a par with stepping on to the bridge of the Enterprise or the Tardis console room.  :icon_razz:

We thought the exact same thing!  The hallway/stairs and the guys' apartment look much bigger on screen.   So excited for you to walk back in there Tuesday with the lights up and music playing!

Newbie here from Spokane, WA.  Never joined a forum before and making my first post.  Landed standby tickets to the Dec 9 taping and just trying to learn what we can/may expect on our first venture to a TV taping!

Welcome, BBTfanatics!!    Congrats on tickets!  You will have an amazing time!   Go to the first page of this thread, where Michy has given the mother-load of information on how to navigate the taping experience.   You will see several times in this thread, that you definitely want to get there early with standby tickets, that way you have the best chance of getting in.    Enjoy the (crazy) forum!  :dancer:

Thank you Sheldorslady for the advice.  In that we are making the flight to Burbank for the sole purpose of attending the taping, which has been on my wife's and my bucket list since retiring and celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary, I want to make sure we maximize our chances of getting in.  (I think I am responding to your post.....will see.)

Hi! What a coincidence. I'm in Spokane for work for a few months, and it looks like I'll be going to the 12/9 taping too, thanks to Michy. I just booked my flight & hotel, and I'm super excited.

First off, welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy your time here. As for your response, you were responding. However, new users have to have their first few posts approved. This is an anti-spam measure, so your posts may take a bit longer to appear.
