i found this:

Question: Do you realize that you haven’t mentioned The Big Bang Theory in Ask Ausiello since August? Is it because of residual anger over Jim Parsons getting flipping robbed at the Emmys? Any scoop on our scientists? â€â€Bethany

Ausiello: If I had an assistant I would totally make him/her/it fact-check the hell out of that August accusation. That can’t be right. Anyway, the hitcom’s Dec. 7 episode will be chock full of what Kaley Cuoco affectionately refers to as “Shenny moments.†In the episode, Penny asks Sheldon to teach her “a little physics†in order to get closer to Leonard. And believe it or not, he agrees! Sheldon deems it “Project Gorilla,†as he figures if someone could teach sign language to Koko the gorilla, then surely he could teach rudimentary physics to Penny.

so the episode title could be The Gorilla Project

Now Penny is doing something about it to be closer to leonard? that's new and good, she DOES like leonard, and the lesser evil is sheldon, raj has to be drunk and howard...he would be more interested in other physics than the actual science so sheldon is the more viable option.

lol, this is a classic, I know, but it makes me laught! :)

Anyway, I find it interesting that she wants to learn physics for Leonard! :p 'xcept... Sheldon as a teacher? Sure, he's knowledgeable, but his ability to teach this knowledge to someone doesn't appear to me! But like you said, I guess he's the least worse of the three! :p

Actually, I've spoken with someone who attended the filming of the episode and that the episode is mainly Sheldon/Penny in the one storyline with Howard/Bernadette/Leonard in the other. Leonard/Penny do get a scene together but other than that is primarily Sheldon/Penny. Also according to my source neither Raj nor Leonard have much screentime in this episode which seems kind of odd IMO.

well based in this is just pretty similar to The Peanut Reaction, I mean in that episode although Sheldon and Penny were together their motivation was organize the Kick ass Birthday Party for Leonard, I think maybe the producers want to give a rest to relationship without finishing it.

I just wish it'd kinda show P/L without making out or having sex every 2 seconds, ya know?

I personally don't see how any objective person could think L/P relationship has gotton too much screentime in regards to the relationship taking over the show. All the season three episodes so far have been pretty balanced in terms of storylines. L/P relationship has barely been at the forefront at all. I'd actually argue that if TPTB want their audience to embrace this couple that they need to start doing more to develope the two as a couple. We're going to be 12 episodes into the new season and we've yet to see L/P out(just the two of them, no third party involved)on a date. It almost makes me believe that TPTB don't have faith in their shows couple that they feel they need to include a third and sometimes fourth wheel into the mix.

Unfortunately, too many series have jumped the shark after the dynamics of a relationship between two central characters changes. For that reason, I'm fine with the writers and producers choosing not to wear out Penny and Leonard's welcome by placing too much emphasis on the romance. Television romances can get boring very quickly. "Always leave 'em wanting more" is a great motto to follow in this case.

yeah...they are in the honey moon , you know having sex , after this they need to grown up and to think if they want for relationship

I see that question being the cliffhanger for the final episode this season

The honeymoon phase shouldn't last for an entire season though. Thats just ridiculous. The fact is the writers aren't doing anything with the couple and its a problem that is going to need to be rectified if they want the audience to root for the pair.

It's right that they are not making anything with the couple, but I am honestly very happy with this. There have been so many series that went bad because of relationships becoming the key plot, turning a sit com into a sort of funny soap opera.

I am happier this way.

I agree with you melyanna, when I say that they are in the honeymoon I mean in this moment in the timeline of series, I don't think that would last for ever. maybe, in futures episodes we will see a grownth relationship or not I don't know , the important thing for me is the producers are not showing too much romance and giving the chance to the others characters (example Raj) to shine and that makes the series better

I think you are 100% right, and I trust that the producers will make the right decisions: so far, they did very well, in my opinion. :)

There's a huge difference between L/P relationship taking over the show and not doing anything at all. I don't want the relationship to take over the show but I also don't want this relationship reduced to a mere prop that barely exists and thats pretty much whats happened...whats the point of even bringing these two together then? There has to be developement or else there's no audience investment in the pair, great sitcom writers know how to achieve the proper balance but these writers seem to have absolutely no interest in developing the pair. We are almost half-way through the season and we've next to nothing of real development for these two.
