I like that Penny is now going to learn something for Leonard as he learned football for her, I feel like the show is developing them slowly without taking over the show and I am thrilled because I was afraid once they got together it would be the LP show and I like the ensemble so much , but want this couple to be together..I like how it is coming along so far

yes they are still in the honeymoon stage

BUT

this is not a relationship netween two people who met in a bar a couple weeks ago they lived next to each other for 2 years and had developed a friendship to the point that they were comfortable with each other walking into and out of each others apartments

SO

the quirks and indiocincracies that would normally have harpooned the relationship are already past

i found this:

Question: Do you realize that you haven’t mentioned The Big Bang Theory in Ask Ausiello since August? Is it because of residual anger over Jim Parsons getting flipping robbed at the Emmys? Any scoop on our scientists? â€â€Bethany

Ausiello: If I had an assistant I would totally make him/her/it fact-check the hell out of that August accusation. That can’t be right. Anyway, the hitcom’s Dec. 7 episode will be chock full of what Kaley Cuoco affectionately refers to as “Shenny moments.†In the episode, Penny asks Sheldon to teach her “a little physics†in order to get closer to Leonard. And believe it or not, he agrees! Sheldon deems it “Project Gorilla,†as he figures if someone could teach sign language to Koko the gorilla, then surely he could teach rudimentary physics to Penny.

so the episode title could be The Gorilla Project

terrific ! But I don't think Sheldon can explain something physical without be boring or offending :s

Jim Parsons will get an Emmy next time if he learns how to be more humble.

Keep your nomination more low key rather than shove it down everyone's

throat.

i don't see JP as you would say 'shoving it down our throat'. i think he is more shocked than he leds us to believe and I believe he will win it!

I think it is great that not only does Penny want to learn about Leonard's work but that Sheldon is willing to help her. He seems to be helping these two young lovers out a lot. I think The writers have been so smart this season has show that they chose a great way to start a romance betweent two of the main characters without isolating them and allowing the other main character to get some really funny stuff to play with due to this new dynamic. Also as much as Leonard and Penny are the BF GF couple I think Sheldon and Penny have those really funny wierd scenes together. the stranger they are the more funny they get. Proves these three will be great with two of them in a real relationship.

I think this has really helped Sheldon to understand how to be a friend.

Did you saw the episode? Just saw it and it was AWESOME! My favorite part was probably Penny speaking out all this physics stuff she knows nothing about, at the end of the episode! I'm impressed Kaley Cuoco had to do a ''Sheldon-like'' line!

Honestly, I'd like to hear Kaley's impression about doing that scene! Oh, and a gag reel! ^_^

I also liked when she explained why Bernadette can't take Sheldon's spot! Reminded me so much of the Pilot! ^_^

It was a good solid episode. Lots of laughs, enjoyable situations that fit the characters and developed them just a little bit. It won't ever make the list of top episodes and didn't have any fall-on-the-floor moments, but to paraphrase the great Sheldon Cooper: "You know, in the future, when we're disembodied brains in jars, we're going to look back on this as a half hour well wasted." I just want to concurr with Steve, I was really looking forward to the episode but found the humour forced and recycled in parts even though it was a pretty solid episode. I have a feeling the episode itself was hard to pull off for the actors. Also it is just me or did the make up artist go a little too full on with Sheldon/Jim Parsons in this episode? And I know it's not my TV because everyone else looked fine.

I echo Steve as well

I really feel like Howard is better than this storyline arc for him

I am not a fan of Bernadette. She reminds me of Georgette from the old mary tyler moore show. I really think TBBT is above this type of regurgitation.

The Sheldon teaching Penny was the best part of the show not only did he get to insult Penny to her face but he got her to insult Leonard's work as well. LOL

Have to love when Sheldon does this stuff to them.

the first thing I liked was the looked on penny's face when Bernadette was starting talking to leonard about physics, she does notice the alarm and warning that she does have to put some more effort for him and I liked that, the thing has to be reciprocate or equal for both sides. I think in the episode with Danica there could be some more "alarms", after all Danica is a great mathematician and pretty and we all know that danica is an expert of producing jelousy lol, if no one believes me, ask fred savage lol, but, we need to wait for the episode, but somehow and at some point they are gonna brake up, to make the relation longer, at least that's what Kaley commented in some interviews.

I did liked the episode and the scene with howard and bernadette in howard's room, I knew it was "on the front" right away lol.

And yes..Leonard does got the prom queen and I can't argue with howard on that regard.

I've been noticing a lot of Leonard hate lately. He's being villified for every little thing he does. He did nothing wrong in regards to Howard. Howard was being an insecure ass and threating, what is Leonard supposed to do in that situation?! Seriously, its not like Leonard was hitting on her. As far as humiliation in the lab, was it not Howard who when Leonard's mom was in town last made him uncomfortable by bringing up his brother and sister and how much more successfull they were then him and got Leonard's mother to talk about it right in front of him and then mocked him for it after he left.

I loved the episode was another good show of the gang together are better.

White knight where did you read or listen that Kaley say "they are gonna brake up, to make the relation longer "?

DPK I only have to say I agree with you, I don't know why the people attack Leonard

I don't know...I felt the characters were a little disjointed in that episode. Don't get me wrong, I loved Howard in this episode but I didn't really like Leonard only because I thought his lines were a little stupid.(more so than his experiment)

I don't care who ends up with whom, I just want to see Sheldon get more human or at least more relatable! :)

I saw videos in youtube before the season started, but since I was surfing for a lot of big bang theory and Kaley Cuoco (it were a long 3 months), I can't pin down wich video was it, she made the relation with friends in the case of ross and rachel, saying "on and off" throughout the season and next season, and that they are from "different planets, but getting closer" and she said that penny wanted a nice guy and she starting to realise it lives across the hall or something like that, that's why I'm "psicologically" prepared if they brake up during the season lol, I just don't know when nor how and why.

And people attack leonard because as in real life you attack or joke about a friend who knows can take it and he is not gonna take it personal, at least that's what I think my friends think when make jokes about me, the best part is when I return the jokes lol....payback!!!

I honestly thought Leonard was being nice, He knew how upset Howard was and he just let Bernadette know, What else was he supposed to say? I thought it was something a friend would do .

Leonard got the shaft in this episode not only from Howard but from Sheldon. I don't understand why Sheldon can insult Leonard like he does but if Leonard stands up to him or is short with him Leonard is a bad guy. Sheldon not only insulted Leonard and his work but instead of just giving penny a real explanation of Leonard's experiment he gave her his view on it and taught her to insult Leonard and his experiment, (good thing she has no idea what she said and it was clear she learned it from Sheldon)

Sheldon makes fun of everyone regardless, it's what he does. I actuality, him being nice would be such a paradigm shift that people's initial response would be disbelief. It's the same with Leonard.

Leonard is gaining a little more confidence, so you can see him breaking out of the shell a bit, like how he stood for himself whe Howard went nutso. But that doesn't mean I laughed at his jokes. He can't really pull of the "constant narcissist drone" that Sheldon is famous for, he is NICER than that. In fact, my favorite Leonard moments is when he is smiling widely at someone elses cut down rathen than making a cut down remark himself. He's nice!

I had a problem with the Shenny moments...I shrug my shoulders at the interactions. What happened to the chemistry? Too many people on the stage, it kills their vibe.

I actually interpreted Leonard's actions as if he was trying to help Howard, until he found out what Howard said about his research. At that point his tone and purpose became different, but who wouldn't have that attitude in the same situation?

One thing is Sheldon saying that his research is stupid, one thing is any other person saying so. Howard's comment was offending, Leonard reacted accordingly.

The only problem I had was with Sheldon this time. He knew Penny wanted to learn about Leonard's work. He also knew she wouldn't understand the things she was going to say. So he should have just taught her what the experiment was, not give teach her his opinion on it. I thought that was mean, and I believe Sheldon knew what he was doing. he is a very smart man. I didn't find Sheldon to be a good friend to either Penny or Leonard in that vein. Not a biggie but still not my favorite Sheldon moment

But that was it
