If they haven't been nominated in the past, I really doubt they are going to be going forward, no matter how stellar their acting is or how much fans think they deserve it. As a matter of fact, only 20 shows in the history of TV have more nominations for Best Comedy than TBBT and they will tie Murphy Brown and Taxi if they get nominated this year, passing the following shows that currently have as many nominations as TBBT. Bewitched The Dick Van Dyke Show Family Ties Father Knows Best The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show Get Smart I Love Lucy Mad About You The Phil Silvers Show The Red Skelton Show The Wonder Years and more nomination than the following: The Andy Griffith Show The Cosby Show Designing Women Entourage Hogan's Heroes Home Improvement Kate & Allie Night Court The Odd Couple Soap Two and a Half Men Veep WKRP in Cincinnati 3rd Rock from the Sun Girls Glee Louie Love, American Style Make Room for Daddy McHale's Navy Newhart Sanford and Son Scrubs Friends was nominated six times and won ONE best comedy Emmy, and that was after it's eighth season. So, I'm not quite sure why you think they won't even be nominated going forward when they have the nominations and there have been shows that have waited longer for their win. The industry don't just give out awards, if they don't deserve it. Season 8 was a brilliant season, one of Friends best. They deserved it, Golden Globe too imo. They are legally obligated. Wouldent have seating places other wise. Either they all show up or they don't at all. Clearly looks like the shows winning. So be odd if no one showed up lol.
