djsurrey
Well it's always had a G rating lol. So I don't see any problem with that. Shows always had good values. I don't get your logic. Are you saying you want the show to have bad values? Because your point of view suggesting its getting "feelsy" suggests show used to be cold. Tbh other then the characters. I don't see a difference between season 2 and 8 just saying. It could not possibly get a G rating in Canada. Here it is rated 14+ (in 9 provinces outside Quebec which has a different system). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_content_rating_systems#Canada

Stewie99
The Big Bang Theory- Season 8 Episode 12- The Space Probe Disintegration- Review It was almost a foregone conclusion of mine that this episode could not be as good a the last, The Clean Room Infiltration, an outing so tantalisingly close to perfection it put most of the other episodes this season to shame. That said, a small part of me believed that The Space Probe Disintegration could be as good, if bot even better, than last week's masterpiece. Unfortunately, that small part of me was wrong. One good thing about The Space Probe Disintegration is that it splits the characters into two story-arcs rather than three, which gives more airtime to the stories which allows them to be developed further. This would be excellent if the stories were good, which they weren't particularly. Also, neither storyline crossed paths at any point during the episode- the writers could not find a way to weave the characters together at the end or even have them in the same scene at the beginning, which almost makes this episode feel like you're watching two different shows and just channel hopping between them. Sheldon/Leonard/Penny/Amy storylines are usually moderately entertaining, and this one did have a few good lines. A lot of airtime was given to the guys working out their relationship, although Sheldon seemed too mature for his character throughout and the whole thing felt superficial and not believable. It was an interesting storyline and one which had to be done sooner or later by the writers because they needed to let Leonard and Sheldon sort their relationship out from the mess it's been in, but it seems we have made no progress with the living arrangements and the whole 'one night a week' thing seemed to be just to set up the awful tag scene. By far the better (but not completely faultless) storyline was Raj and Howard's adventures. Kunal and Simon play these roles so well and there is real on-screen chemistry between the two characters- it is totally plausible that they have been best friends for 10 years or more. The fact that Raj would choose to go to a Hindu temple because of work stress when he has never mentioned it during any of his previous crises is a bit strange, but it made for a decent and funny few ninturs of television nonetheless. The ending with Raj first getting angry with the other man and then having the good news come through was predictable, but I liked the good lines peppered throughout and the warm and happy way in which the story ended. All things considered, it was just normal service resumed for season 8 TBBT- a few funny lines with a bit of filler and some very predictable endings. It's the gems of episodes- such as The Clean Room Infiltration- that I watch the show for, and this episode certainly wasn't one- but what is was was a perfectly serviceable episode of TBBT, and for that I do give it credit.Best Line: Howard: 'Last Dawali I watched you eat two pounds of sacred cow at a Brazillian streakhouse'Performance of the Week: I'm going to give this one to Johnny Galeki for the first time this season. Whilst it has been a pretty boring season as yet so far as his character is concerned, he has made the best of what he has been given and the way that he burst into tears when discussing living arrangements with Sheldon was very moving.Score: 6/10. rachelshamyfan
The living arrangement talk was the best bit about the episode, was good that they finally talked about it and Sheldon dealt with it better as well
Stephen Hawking
After Amy says she can't go horse riding, because her hips don’t open wider than 22 degrees, and she can't go ice skating, because she has unnaturally brittle ankles, Penny asks her "Is there any part of your body that’s normal?", and Amy sniggers. Thing is, even her lady parts aren't "normal", as we know from The 21-Second Excitation, where she told Penny and Bernadette she has an unusually firm cervix and a tilted uterus. A titled uterus is hardly weird though a lot of women have that and the cervix moves and softens/hardens during a woman's cycle so I'm not even sure how an unusually firm cervix can be a thing? Stephen Hawking
Was it really wrong, for Raj to be angry that guy dinged his car? I don't see that, just because he's elderly, he should get a free pass, to bash people's car doors.

But, I have seen people mad at lesser damage.

It was when he noticed the old gentleman driving that he simmered down.
