Wow. I think that is the most spoiler ladden episode description we've had this year. They're not exactly leaving many surprises are they?

It does seem kind of spoilery to me. I sort of knew about the Shamy plot and the Howard brother plot, but it would have been nice to have the Lenny plot be a mystery. Oh well, it airs in two days anyway. lol

At least they didn't give away what it is Leonard & Penny fight over, like the BBT wikipedia page did.

Lmao. Everytime I see the title of this one quickly it looks like fornication instead of fortification I apparently have the maturity of a teenaged boy.

I didn't see it until you guys mentioned it...thanks alot

(for The Prom Equivalency...I kept typing Porn instead of Prom)

Well once again the taping report for this episode made the argument between Leonard and Penny worse then it was overall a good episode disappointed a little in the Howard half brother story just met him and he had to leave town so soon but we got 2 seasons left so hopefully Howard and his brother will have more story lines

Did Bernie say what I think she did? That as soon as Howard went to Comic Con, she'd take a wrecking ball to it (whether the wall or whole house)? OMG!! That is soooo wrong! If my husband did that to a childhood home I inherited while I was out of town, we'd have serious marital problems!!

I don't get all the Bernie hate. They act like me and my hubby. It's a very kitcky house. I'd want to knock down walls too. they are making the house their own. She is not knocking down the house. Just the walls

Pretty good episode, but I have issues with the Leonard/Penny argument:

I find it very hard to believe that, being engaged, they don't know the status of each others financial situation/salaries. Penny obviously seemed to know what kind of money Leonard was making, so it's not so believable that he's totally clueless as to the money she is making. Especially since we've seen hints in past episodes that she's doing quite well.

Even before my husband and I were engaged and living together we knew the details of each others financial situations, and had discussed a financial plan for the future. We might not have known exact numbers in every account, but we had a general idea of how much savings/debt/investments each other had.

I think it's a hint to how unhealthy their relationship really is.  There is no real communication between them.

I already posted this in the Mayim thread, but thought it might also belong here, for those that don't read that one.

Mayim discussed tonight's episode with Glamour:

Mayim Bialik Reveals All About Sheldon and Amy's Major Relationship Moment on Tonight's Big Bang Theory

ETA: I'm glad she brought up the laughter over Jim holding up the "smiling Sheldon" photo... my first thought was "how on EARTH are they keeping straight faces through that! It did sound like Jim was about to crack up at one point, you could hear it in his voice :)
