Whoever plays them; I think we are long over due in meeting Leonard's dad AND Penny's mom. After all we've met Bernie's mom and dad and even Howard's half brother. Penny and Leonard are 2 of the Big 3! Just saying...

Leonard and Penny saying "because she can just eat him up." in synchronization was adorable.

Not to mention them standing at the door with Leonard and Penny- arm in arm was cute as they coached their "son" through what to say.

And finally we see Lenny spending time in 4B and allegedly sleeping there that night, because where else was meemaw gonna sleep?  Sure we should have seen them spending time in 4B sooner in contrast to their roommate agreement with Sheldon, but at least it's being shown.

Also loved them being in sync on the moon pie explanation. They looked so sweet standing arm in arm in the door way. Need some special Lenny moments soon. Not sure what, though.

I think they were great together tonight too. I loved watching them together.

They were in the background but they really acted married, which I liked.  They were with each other sort of acting like one, they definitely worked like a team this episode in how they dealt with everything and everybody.  Also the way Penny was holding Leonard screamed 'he's mine'.

Havent seen the ep yet. But based on posts. Hopefully means more 4b scenes. Their a literally no reason why they should spend all their time at 4A anymore. They are a unit now. As a guy Iove when Leonard and Penny touch each other. Dont see it alot, and I like that. But when you do it hits the sweet spot imo. Hopefully they get a big plot soon. Lenny reception. Where they invite all.Their friends would  be good.

 

Eta: just noticed since s5 recombination hypothesis been no or little pillow talk. Or just Lenny in bed. One thing I miss about this show.

Although Lenny were in the background, I liked the scenes they were in. Dr. and Mrs. Hofstadter looked great together. Both standing arm in arm in the door was cute. Especially liked the first single shot where Penny's hands were intertwined around Leonard's arm, literally holding to him.

Im wondering if 200th well involve Living Arrangements. Hopefully Lenny go to 4b fulltime. As I know some share the sentiment 4b is too Small. But I dont think so. Its spacious enough. That way they well get more alone time, and isolated scenes. Amy Could take Leonard's room. Sheldon be distracted by Amy etc.

Sometimes I wonder why I am less disturbed by the diminished focus on Lenny than others are. Am I less discriminating,more easily pleased,less sophisticated,just a dumb ass? Maybe a bit of all of the above but also because I am much more a visual type than an auditory type. I have trouble with books on tape because my mind wanders. But seeing the Lenny sprinkles really thrills,delights,excites and satisfies me. I have skipped through the episode four times this morning to see this little nugget which Veejay posted. Also loved all the great shots of Leonard's wedding ring. Love them walking up 800 flights of stairs together. Love them looking at each other, drinking wine together, talking together at the island in 4b instead of 4a. I think that's why I was one of the 4 people in the world who didn't hate the wedding. I thought it was fun to look at.Penny's pretty dress, Leonard in his cute little suit, pink flowers and bows all over the place, just the two of them together, next to each other,close together, talking, smiling, laughing. Liked all of it. In short, I get great joy just from seeing Leonard and Penny together in just about any scene. I think they are like a drug addiction! I would love more of them, don't get me wrong. More, more, more! THEY rarely disappoint! Imo. I want more big stories for them.Like all Lennys do.

I guess my point is from being on the forum I see that we see things through our own unique filters and sometimes it's not always easy to get another poster. But sometimes we can broaden our perspective from reading different points of view and trying to be open to them.

The view of an episode of each person is determined by their preferences. People who are Lenny's think that they get too little attention while people who are Sheldon fans like the episodes since they most often revolve completely around him.

I personally miss some group action (not as you might think). The last time we saw the entire group together was in 8x22.

Totally agree. Of course I want more, but especially this season, I am just loving the little tibits of them showing the so much in love, newlywed Lenny!

Is this season better than last season for me as a Lenny? Yes. Because Leonard and Penny are representing -- we actually see them standing together behind the kitchen island or like last night in the doorway, chiming in and acting (again) as Sheldon's Greek chorus. I remember last season when they all but disappeared and we were all supporting one another with basically the conventional wisdom that 'every character has their arc and maybe Lenny's will be towards the end of the season'. Except for Graduation and the horrific 8.24, that didn't happen. 

But now this season, our mantra has seemed to have changed. Now it's 'well they're not doing much but at least they're acting like a married couple'. 

Yeah. Fucking great. 

I'm not stupid and an episode entitled The Meemaw Materialization is going to Sheldon and Shamy intensive. I know that. But IMO, Raj's storyline was inane. And again, the creatives couldn't jettison that crappy plot and give that time to Lenny. They couldn't or wouldn't or didn't care to think of one thing for Lenny to do other than to stand in the background and support Sheldon. Again. WTF!

I am still on the edge. I don't know how much more I can take of these TPTB crotch kicks especially when they are wearing pointy shoes.
