That still doesn't mean they were the focus. Even if they got 50/50 screen time. Its not quantity its quality. They have yet this season to get a centric plot. In thanksgiving yes THEY had a plot. Yes. But THEY weren't the focus. Shamys issues were. Therapist episode. Yes drove the episode. But having a separate plot. Does not change the majority of the show is driven through Sheldon.

The Sheldon/Shamy focus of season 9 won't change. Here you don't need to harbor any illusions. My repeatedly expressed wish for at least one or two drama/angst-less Lenny-centric episodes remains in place of course.

And as I also wrote before, I'm a glass-half-full person, so I try to enjoy the occasional Lenny tidbits, even if they are easily crumbling biscuits...because these can taste delicious too.

Besides im sure tptb already Said s9 well focus on Shamy. So theirs no reason to expect anything more or less. But hopefully Lenny get a centric plot soon. Similar to the Thanksgiving episode.

-Again moving the goal posts, just because they weren't THE ONES WITH THE MOST FOCUS, doesn't mean they had no focus PERIOD.

It's been discussed on this thread that Lenny has the spotlight and/or the focus on half the episodes this season. By definition:

spotlight= center stage

focus= center of attention

i think those words perfectly describes Shamy/Sheldon but Lenny?

When Leonard and Penny do finally do move out and get place of their own, I really hope it isn't due to an acquiescence on Sheldon's part. 

All this talk on the Discussion Thread about the 200th episode being centered around Sheldon's birthday (yea -- something TPTB haven't given us in awhile -- a Sheldon-centric episode, it's long overdue IMO) has got me thinking (very dangerous). With AW as a guest and the Batman streamers that are evident in the photo, it does 'feel' birthday-party-ish. So what if, to show he's grown and how much his friends mean to him, Sheldon makes like a Hobbit and gives presents rather than receive them. And what he gifts Leonard with is a shredded Roommate Agreement. 'Leonard, you're my best friend and a married man. You should be alone with your wife, starting a new life. I release you from your bond(age) with the Roommate Agreement. Please start your new life with your beautiful wife as you should have done months ago, but for me.'

Nah. Nuh-uh.

I would love (like, pray, hope, desire, prefer) Leonard and Lenny to stand up and leave on their own. Leonard tried a few times in the past but the first time Penny wasn't quite ready and then she cannon-balled the planned move.  I would love (like, pray, hope, desire, prefer) for Leonard to look at Sheldon and say, 'I'm done with this. I'm leaving. For good. Penny, are you ready?" And then reaches over and takes Penny's hand and they exit. 

A decision and move made by and for Lenny themselves. 

I would love (like, pray, hope, desire, prefer) this. 

Yea. Good luck with that.

It dosent matter what you say some people (who I shall not name so they can't run to the teacher and whine how i am being mean again) wont except anything but total agreement with their pov. Actually I don't think even that would do it since I think they just want to argue. Just ignore them and be happy with the knowledge that your life isn't that pathetic that to have to spend time proving your intellectual superiority to strangers online, even if you have to change patameters of the argument in mid sentance

If it was me, After the taping I would give a tr in chat and tell about the Lenny and howardette plot while ignoring Shamy questions because you know turnabout is fair play..... And also cause I can be an ass

Why are ppl trying to. Convince Lenny are the focus lol.  Considering how diminished they are atm. You cant go oh they had a few good scenes in the Thanksgiving ep as oh they are a focus. No THEY were featured. Most of the stories have been driven through the other couple. Was Lenny the focus last ep? No background. What about earworm? No as they have Been all season they were Sheldons ear piece. A prop in the background. They got a kiss yayyyy. They're married they are susposed to be. Thanksgiving was a rare tibit. Tptb say they cant get enough of those kinda scenes. Yet Lenny have not Been centre stage since then. Rather give precious episode time to off screen characters.That's my point re not giving Sheldon or Lenny plots without a third party involved. They cant have a crazy person alone. They cant have Amy deal with it. She should be disindependent from Sheldon. Shes his gf. So Lenny are the foil. THEY cant seem to write any more stories with any of the characters without a third party. So what one may consider being a focus ala Thanksgiving. Most consider throwing a bone. A blind man could tell you Sheldon is the focus. Still stand by Lenny need a few more centric plots. 1 does not mean they have been a focus jmo.

Just finished rewatching episode 9.04. You can't imagine how much I right now wish for a change of the living arrangements and that Lenny finally can live alone. I would love to see a mailbox with a label "PENNY HOFSTADTER & DR. LEONARD HOFSTADTER"

I never saw that ep, the wedding pissed me off so much lol. I waited since 2008 for that? Didn't watch for a bit. Felt like ringing Chuck Lorre and telling him to hmmm mmm hmmmm mmmmm. Thankful theyve turned it around as they tend to do. And Lenny are married and look married. Penny's calm demeanour around Leonard is still a shock. Whers the messy hot girl next door.

I think, if Penny had her last name changed to Hofstadter, the mailbox would simply say "Hofstadter" without the first names. Given the size of the boxes anyway, there's not much room for such a long description.

They can put those names on their new mailbox when they buy a house with a white picket fence and a swing set in the backyard for the cute little Hofstadter babies.
