I love that Penny is, instead of having doubts about her marriage, standing up to Beverly to defend her and her husband. And, of course, I'm looking forward to the flirty bits in the beginning of 9.24.

No drama no angst but also no resolutions not a bad ep it sounds like but not an especially good season finale

Have to see it to make a finale call but I am not unhappy with what we heard tonight

The season finale sounds like a great episode to me and I'm happy with it. No drama, no angst, no Lenny apocalypse. Final judgement after the episode was aired of course, but I think I will be equally happy after that as I am today.

Today nobady can drag me down. Try it. You won't succeed.

lol Not really. I wouldn't have been sad, If I had lost the bet.

So change of living arrangements in season 10...or 11...or 12...

No resolution to living arrangement - which was never happening by end of season - but I at least hope there is a resolution in our minds that the marriage is solid and not in the danger some speculated. Like or hate the writing of Penny's snark, I just never saw the damaged, in danger marriage. They looked so happy sipping coffees in the kitchen by the island watching their world ( Sheldon) pass them by! Good and bad stories notwithstanding, I never doubted the marriage, for me it was just what the writers decided to put ( or not put ) on screen from their daily lives. The Lenny story is the master of the "trust what's happening outside the 19 minutes you see". But we end with Penny wanting to share her happiness with others, wanting to bond with the mother in law, standing up to the mother in law, being flirty with Leonard, just all round rejoicing in the marriage. This makes me happy. And forget about her stuffing up the move out in 904, which I personally see as her biggest sin this year.

Me neither. I love the way they've been written. They've grown so much over the last few seasons and now they're truly shining as the married Hofstadters.

How would you describe the tone of Leonard's father to Leonard and what he thinks of Penny?  Is he more supportive to Leonard or he he just a weaker version of Beverly?

What's…. No cliffhanger, no Lenny drama? I'm not having it. I mean what am I supposed to do for the next 4 months with no Lenny bashing. 😎 I guess I'm just going to have to be happy. wait a sec... it might be fun. 😊

Jokes aside. So happy that we got 2 good lenny episodes from the TR and penny happy with her marriage and actually showing how proud to be married to leonard and going out her way to bond with Beverley, can't wait to watch. I always knew the episode 9x21 was a delay tactics to prolong the living arrangement and it looks like I was right as it wasn't even brought up in season final. I hope it is resolved in s10

Shame there was no redo but with Penny's bedroom taken down it, maybe it willl be resigned for our lenny to move in together after they have a redo in 10x01 (hoping) or during the hatius we find out they moved in together. No drama. 😀.

Yeah, the living arrangements pretty much is the one thing that make my eyes roll to the back of my head. Guess you can't expect too much realism in comedy.

I hope Lenny decide to finally have a long overdue, beautiful honeymoon.
