It can´t be the redo, we got to have Penny parents at the redo as well. IMO

And she doesn't even make it to the dinner because of the paranoia incident. lol But in the general discussion thread there was a bit confusion about the timeline and many people thought it must have happened off-screen. I think that line from Leonard clarifies that it's still to come. Fingers crossed for 10x01!

I said on an earlier post about Penny's family as it could happen if they can't get Wyatt. It would be easy to recruit for Penny's mother and brother as we haven't seen them on screen. If they do do a redo i really hope her family are their too, a least one member. I'm definitely on board for 10x01 redo. 💃@April. There was debate about the timeline and yes bernie was chosen to officiate it and yes leonard pretty much confirmed it hasn't happened yet. 😊

Chances are good, that TPTB really are going to plan a ceremony and tape it. The question is, in which episode of season 10 we would actually see the ceremony. With Molaro's words "enough story" I wouldn't bet on episode 10x01. I don't mind waiting til 10x02 or so. The main point is that we actually see a ceremony. And if that's the case, I hope we see a few members of Penny's family too.

It is a bit eerie to have Leonard and Penny and their story be front and center.  I don't think there has been an episode this season where that was the case.  When they have been featured it's been as a "double-header".  In this episode it seems that other things going on sort of revolve around why people are there (Beverly v. Alfred & Mary) and a smaller plot B with Howard/Bernadette/Raj.....

After watching the previews for the finale i haven't felt this positive about lenny since s7 just holding my breath that tptb don't make me pay for these feeling next season

legacy, I know what you mean! 

For me, it usually always plays out like the brilliant Expectations vs Reality scene in the movie 500 Days of Summer.

I could not be more thrilled about the tidbits we've been getting but I have been so conditioned by TPTB, how they set us up with some fairly high teasing expectations only to find myself crushingly disappointed with the actual offering.

I can't help but wonder what's waiting for us. My current favorite obsessive thought: pick anyone -- Stephanie, Dr Plimpton, Priya, Mandy Chow who shows up in Season 10 with a small child in tow who has dark curly hair and wears glasses.

Well, Leonard didn't really hook up with Mandy so I don't think they would have a baby together .

But you never know what little drama will tickle the heart and fancy of the writers. They can alter and misshape any canon they want.

As for the other two, why would they wait 8 or 6 years respectively to show up with a kid if it were Leonard's?

That is absolutely correct! And believe me, I am aware that the writers can pull something out of the hat at any time, that makes your head shake in disbelief. But at this time I really don't think the writers will lead Lenny into a drama of epic proportions in season 10 (or any further that might follow) that could have the makings to destroy their marriage or something like that.

You know what is amazing to me, for two episodes, in a row, we get Leonard and Penny acting like the happily young newlywed couple they are, dealing with actual newly married couples problems.  The new wife trying to get to know and be accepted by the man she loves' family is classic for all new marriages and can be very funny.  It also creates the perfect storyline for one or two episodes in the next season when Leonard meets her family and tries to be accepted by them.

Then again, if Stephanie or Priya showed up with a kid made by Leonard, Penny would have no reason to get mad at him. Because at the time, Leonard was dating Stephanie and Priya respectively.
